Don't forget that Billick may just be blowing smoke and be in love with Cutler. Who knows. It's interesting anyway.

    Very interesting indeed. Thanks, icecreamtruck.

  3. Interesting that he is saying all this when his team may very well be in the market for one of these QB's. Can you say major smokescreen?

Who cares what Billick thinks he pinned all his hopes on Kyle Boller and has consistently had one of the worst offenses in the league during his time in Baltimore.

ya, if Jackie Harris hadn't pulled a fast one on him, Ozzie would be sitting there with Byron, Billick would never have forced him to Boller and we'd be talking about the champion Ravens. The two-time champion Ravens.

If there's one person that I trust with QBs, it's certainly Billick...

Boller played extemely well the last couple games of the season in '05. I guess figured out that he was playing for his starting job.

Sarcasm on your part, I take it? Walsh, yes. Billick, no.

Seriously, as a New York QB, you need to be a winner, need to have a brain, and also be media savvy to have a chance at succeeding.

That's why I only draft Matt Leinert and not Young or Cutler.

Playing here is a mental drain. You have to know how to play in the spotlight and pressure of the media. If we want a QB in the first round, we have to trade up and take the guy that not only can handle New York, but seems to want to embrace it.

    ---------------

I'd trade #4 plus 2007's 1st round pick to move up to #2 if we want Leinert. I do not want to give up any picks this year.
