What does that have to do with my scenario? I had a condition that the Jets missed by one game. But if you want to be technical, both NY and Mia had a bye week following the London trip and both lost the game immediately following their bye week.
I always give a flip when we lose. I don't think Jet Lag would be a viable reason for a loss though. These are professionals, they need to tough that time difference right the F out. The only person who can possibly lose in this situation is my friend, Rob. I drink exponentially more after a loss than a win, so that means I'll throw up a lot more barf on him. He really is a good sport about all the puking.
It's more than just a time difference, and I'm sure the players will be able to deal with things, but the overall effects it has on the team seem unfair to the ones participating in the overseas games versus the ones who do not. If they were to do this the right way, they would make every team in the league travel over there to play a game each year.
It was against the 'phins.....all they had to do was turn up. By the way did you see the game? One of the worst I've ever had the misfortune to watch.
When you're on a budget, nothing beats $12 for a 30 rack. If you just want to drink water, you could always splurge the extra buck or two for Keystone Light but everything has its downside: While PBR actually has flavor which isn't nearly as bad as some other beers, it actually skunks really fast and really badly, whereas Keystone has a better shelf life. I have too much experience with shitty beer.
