Can someone explain the Other involving the J-E-T-S for me. I thought the deal with the vikings were over with.
Plus the 5th form the redskins should be wrong.
I like the gbnreport but I wonder if they're slipping.

I thought the 5 for Kendall was this year if specifics weren't met, but since they were, I think we get a 4 in 2009. As for Bollywood, it could be some kind of roster clause because he's still on their roster, or it could be a playing time clause as he did play a few games last year.

Just a random question, but would we get any compensation picks this year? The only player who we would get one from BJ Askew, who happened to be a Pro-Bowler. Would we be elgible for a comp pick, I don't know of the regulations and stuff for them.

^That's a good point, I don't see why we wouldn't get a pick for the pro bowl full back...probably a later one though.

The 5 from the skins would have been this year if Kendall did not meet all his playing time requirements. He met them so it got bumped up to a 4 next year. The 7 from MN is for this year for giving them Brooks Bollinger last year.We never got a 7th from MN last year.

As far as B.J Askew, I think we signed that guy(FB) from the Dolphins, who we later cut. I cant remember his name, so I doubt we get a comp pick for that.

Comp pick is based on size of contract and playing time, I think, not pro bowl or anything else. We lost Askew, but gained Barnes, Coleman, Bowens and more. No picks for us, unless we get a filler one at the end of the 7th to fill out the draft.
