word in the bay area is that the raiders & jets have disc. a trade re CB Fabian Washington. apparently the raiders are close to a trade with the falcons for d.hall/cb.
This guy did: Steelers release WR Wilson after arrest (AP) - 2 hours ago Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Cedrick Wilson was released Thursday, hours after he was charged with punching his estranged girlfriend in the face at a suburban restaurant. The 29-year-old player w...
Depending on what round the pick is. We're likely to take a CB mid rounds if we don't add one via FA or trade so what's the difference. I'd be happy with this aquisition.
jeeez. you give a team your first round pic for a non pass catching, non blocking TE and they think they can bitch slap ya any time they want (like Lucy pulling the pig skin away from CB). "come on tanny, i PROMISE this time will be different. honest honest honest. trust me!"
interesting idea, Kelly usually is up on her news... betting she just forgot to note the link this time. Would be a good deal for both teams, and might actually win some Jets fans over if it was essentially a d-rob for Washington straight up, when that is the guy we were expected to draft a few years back when we traded for Jolley blech...
This will never happen straight up, we would have to throw in at least both 4s which i wouldnt be opposed to, what 4th round pick is as good as fabian. Seriuously tho, if we traded drob straight up for Washington that would be the most lopsided trade i have ever seen.
Nah, I'm not sure it has. Reports out of SI.com say the deal has hit a snag. Possibly with Hall's contract or physical. He is NOT in silver and black yet, though.
Not that I believe this rumor, but Fabian Washington would make the 2005 Doug Jolley trade almost come full circle. Raiders traded our pick #26 to move up to #23 to get Fabian.
What do you people just make stuff up? Where in this thread, did the starter of it say Fabian Washington for D-Rob? D-Rob can't even pass a physical, WHY THE HECK would the Raiders be trading for him? The thread is that the Jets are discussing Fabian Washington, not Fabian Washington for D-Rob, which the Raiders would never do and which is ridiculous to even suggest. Maybe after that deal, the Jets can trade David Barrett to Denver for Champ Bailey. That being said, this is what ROTOWORLD SAID: If Washington hadn't lost his confidence and job to Stanford Routt in 2007 and been accused of domestic battery in February, his value would be a lot higher. As is, Oakland shouldn't be asking for more than a third-round pick.
