After aquiring deangelo hall word has it that these 2 players will be on the block. Both these players are 97 speed in madden so i think we should get one........ But on a serious note fabian was a first round pick a couple years ago and routts ok, maybe with some good coaching they could be decent and we could probably get one for cheap. Remeber 2 years ago the Raiders defense was top in the lg with fabian starting, so obviously he was doing something right. Seeing that we need a cb i wouldnt mind spending a 3rd or 4th on either of them. What do you guys think.

I got the joke, but no...I don't think the Jets should give up anymore draft picks.

    Not a bad idea though.

Fabian and Revis would give us the youngest starting tandem, wouldn't it? Nah, I don't think we should give up picks for that...

As I said in the other thread, I think a Robertson-for-Washington deal could work for both teams.

It would probably take our 2nd round pick which is almost a 1st round pick and to be perfectly honest...he isn't worth that pick.

Also, we can get someone even younger and potentially better.

Ok...so what would it take? A 3rd round pick that we don't have?

We already have traded away a first day pick...I don't think they should make anymore trades like this the rest of the offseason.

Oakland is trying to free up some space. They would take a 4th for him I'm sure.

I wouldn't trade him for picks; we've given up enough already. However...

    I'd be down for that.

Flamian is a joke...He ran his 4.24 and got into the 1st round...Stay way.

Now Routt, I like his style...But I doubt Oakland would trade him.

If there speeds were 99s then I would do it...

But there's no way we should trade any more picks

Has anybody ever not wasted a 1st round pick we've traded to them? Maybe they're cursed.

If they had any interest in Robertson at all I would prefer trading him and our #6 for their #4.

Screw Madden, Raider Joe has them both rated higher than Revis. Hell yes.

Either Routt or Washington would be a terrific pick-up for the Jets. They'd be stupid not to look into getting one of them, they are two young, starting caliber players that are light-years better than any CBs on our roster not named Revis. A lot of you guys are giving Fabian a hard time, but he's shown he's shown serious ability for the Raiders, Routt's just been able to fend him off with his own stellar play for that starting job.

excellent question, I thought it myself when I saw the Hall news. I think fabian is pretty good. I liked him in the draft that year and I like him now. I think he would be an excellent pair to Revis, because Revis has that hip quickness that Washington lacks. If memory serves Routt was a similar player, both fast, neither fierce. I like either as a #2, but Washington more.

    I would take him for a 4th.
