Ok now i know that some of us want DMC and some of us dont, but i know there are teams that need him alot more than us.

Bucs, but they pick too low to be in the discussion unless they give up a 1 next year.

The panthers could be a real partner, with the pick at 13 its not that far and if you look at the value chart it works out, 6 is worth 1600 and there 13 is worth 1150 if they send that and 43 which is worth 470 its almost a perfect match.

not to mention we have a great trading record with the panthers. Last year in the draft and for kris Jenkins.

All in all i feel that this would put us in a better position to take either DRC Leodis Mckelvin or the best WR,

Yeah I think the Bucs might get desperate but then again they might not be, I mean looks like Cadilac may never play again, so you know they might be a little concerned with trading that far up

I think a trade is more likely for someone looking fo a DT or Cb. I also think KC will take any deal we would take.

What if we give the Falcons our first and a fourth to move up to 4 to make sure we get McFadden.

Now there's something I could see happening.

Panthers drafted DeAngelo Williams in the first a couple of years ago, who many people (along with I) think he'll be a great player

My worst nightmare is that only one of these 3 guys is left when we pick. Jake Long, Ellis or Dorsey. We don't need any of them (especially at #6 pick cost) and neither Dorsey or Ellis can play DE in my opinion. If that happens we have no choice but to trade down and get screwed in the process.

personally, i can't see us taking dmc. not with all the off the field, baggage.unless the fo has relaxed it's morality issues.

They obviously have. They traded for Jenkins, signed Pace(both of which were vocal malcontents on their teams) and are talking to Ty Law.

As far as moving up, I can see that as a possibility depending on how the first 2 or 3 picks go. If it looks like nobody we want will be there we may make a move. We have proven we are not shy about moving up to get somebody we want. Al Davis is dying to move down and Atlanta may be too if Ryan goes before they pick.

I think with the character thing, the FO and CS think they have a core of character guys in place now, that lets them take a few risks on the basis that the majority should in theor drag the stragglers into line.

You want to trade up to select the biggest question mark in the top 10? Why?

If the FO wants McFadden, then that is what I could see happening. Especially if Gholston goes #2 to the Rams.

We have done what we did in FA to take the BPA, so if Gholston and DMC aren't there-- we will take the best at #6. That may mean a CB at 6 or trading down.

Long won't be there. KC would flip if he was still there by their pick. Ellis or Dorsey might be attractive enough for someone to trade up for to our spot. In this scenario, we are better off if DMac is gone by our pick as well, because some one might want to grab Mendenhall. The best position for us is around pick 12 and add a 2nd or 3rd rounder.
