I can't entirely blame Bradway for the DRob deal, although he did have a huge part in it. Herm obviously didn't get how to duplicate the success of the Tampa defense and blamed Bradway for not duplicating the players that Tampa had, so Bradway did the stupid thing and tried to duplicate the players in Tampa instead of finding players who could do the same job. It's never just one guy's fault. I blame both Bradway and Herm.

Wasn't a great trade, obviously, but it wasn't the absolute worst either. And given that we've moved to 3-4 vs. 4-3, we'll never know the true potential of Drob as a Jet would have been.

That said, the biggest question mark I have with the trade is that Bradway pulled the trigger with Chicago before the draft started rather than before the #4 spot was on the clock. He would have compounded his mistake had he made the trade and then been left with someone other than the guy he had targeted (Drob, in this case). He doubled down when he shouldn't have. It didn't blow up in his face, but he was lucky.

Bradways a disgrace and we all know what DRob is regardless of scheme- a fat waste in the mold of Eddie Curry.
