Every player you listed was considered "damaged goods" in one way or another, Roy Williams is not. Doesn't matter, Detroit will likely keep him and franchise him next year anyway.

spitzer is a multi multi multi millionair with a wife who know's when to shut the f up and just stand by her very wealthy man. if she's mad at all it's probably because spitz never brought a hot chick home for her to play with. selfish bastard!

    Again...name me a vet that's been traded for a 1st since Abe.

Jenkins played all last year. Moss may have been hurt, but it was his surroundings that killed him. Edgerrin James is another pro bowler that only got a 2nd in his prime. Don't you think Williams is comparable to James. Besides, I really don't think Williams will want to share with Johnson once he reaches his prime, and Detroit knows this.

Again??? When did you ask me to name a vet traded for a 1st? [edit: I see you asked someone else, in a post I skimmed]

Anyway, if you read my post, I don't think he'll get traded, so what's the point? BTW, Javon Walker. :) I think it was a first, too lazy to look it up. :)

Jenkins has been unhappy and disgruntled in Carolina for a couple of years now. He wanted out. Some 'experts' (not me) claimed Moss has lost his speed. Edge was NOT in his prime, but at the tail end of his so called prime and with a lot of wear. Also RBs don't last as long as WRs. Roy Williams has 7-8 years left. Not sure what RW wanting to share with CJ has to do with anything....

wwhy will Detroit trade up to get to 6 assuming Mc Fadden is still there.Ther can be patient and wait to get Mendehall, Stewart or Jones later.Jets fans think that every GM is just ready to gave away draft picks. No way in hell do I trade to 6 if I am Detriot.Even Millen is not that dumb.

Yea that would be great- We could then draft Cromartie or McKelvin- But I think Detroit would be pretty dumb to agree to that trade

It won't happen. You can't trade him on the clock as I have pointed out before. They won't make that trade before the draft because they have no assurance that McFadden will be there at 6 when it's their time to pick.

he will workout before the draft though, which may keep his stock where it is.

Possibly. The "experts" are saying he is more complete than Gaines Adams was last year, so he might be a decent option if, and only if, we move down.

There is always one team that will get desperate enough to do just about anything but I think NJJets is pretty accurate about Roy Williams value. Roy Williams is seriously overrated on this site. He is supremely talented but that talent has only produced one year as a legit #1 WR and I dont think the Lions could get a 1st round pick for him now. That might be why they are going to hold onto him for another year.

We can get Roy Williams - (And i would love that being a Horns fan) but we will turn him into an average WR if Chad is back there lobbing the ball
