Pats didn't win anything here. The article states the players only intent was to force Walsh into speaking about the cheating and finding out what he may know or evidence. If he's going to talk to the NFL, why would the players have to bother?

It was a frivolous suit to begin with. Frivolous lawsuits open the door to being counter-sued.

    IMO.

I love how the suit was started by a player that was on the Rams for 1 year (that SB year) and was then cut and has spent his career in the arena league. Everyone is trying to attach their names to this story to get media attention and get their name out there. There are definitely no personal agendas going around with this, nothing to see here, folks! Move along!

Thats another unfortunate side effect of spygate, now fans don't have to make any intelligent points when talking football about the Patriots, since its so easy to just say "You're a cheater!" and stick your tongue out.

We didn't seem to need cameras last year when we nearly went undefeated. Brady broke records and got NFL MVP with no cameras on the sidelines. Use your cheater line as much as you'd like, it won't remove New England from the AFC East.

^It won't remove you, but now your completely tarnished... Coach, the QB, the Team, the Owner... Your the Barry Bonds of Football, its not the fans fault, which is the sad part. But now the Patriots are synonymous with unleveling the playing field.

The lawsuit was BS to begin with. He had 3 fans suing as well. If it was the sold out crowd in 2002 suing, than maybe they would have had a shot.. but it was BS... Walsh talking is still a big issue- if he has tapes, than this isn't going away until next offseason, maybe as far as Belichick's whole career.

I think the lawsuit served it's purpose. It WAS a totally frivolous lawsuit that never would have seen a courtroom, but it helped keep a spotlight on an important issue that was brushed under the rug like a senator's pregnant thirteen year old daughter shipped off to 'live with her grandmother'.

Yes actually you did seem to need cameras last year when you didn't go undefeated. The first f*ckin' week you needed cameras ya bum!

And then buddy reveals you've been doing this for 8 years... don't even get me started.
