I can see them going with Mendenhall over McFadden...

I'll use the example of the Colts taking the 'lesser touted by more well rounder' Edgerrin James over Rickey Williams, despite Williams being the 'hot' name.

There were a lot of gasps, but I think they definitely did the right thing, in retrospect.

I trust this front office...if they took Mendenhall over McFadden, I would back it up 100%

Would it be completely nuts to think that maybe they'll still take running back in round 2 if they draft Defense?

The RB crop looks pretty deep, but everyone around here is taking as if it's an RB at 6, or its no RB at all...

Franchise type RBs are everywhere in this draft. Kevin Smith and Steve Slaton fro example

We're not taking a RB at 6. We have two solid backs that can share time, our front office believes as long as you have an offensive line almost any back can succeed. The McFadden talk is beyond crazy, theres no chance in hell that we take him. None what so ever.

What does it tell you when we are bringing in RBs like Jessie Chattman? That means we're looking for a 3rd back, maybe in the draft, maybe in free agency. We have too much money wraped up in the RB position to take McFadden. No way we take him.

    Maybe we're playing mind games.

How do they take Mendenhall? They would have to trade down to around the 12th pick because he's not going to last much longer than that. Are any of the teams picking in that range looking to move up?

If the jets pick up DMC, I think they should trade TJ or LW for a couple of good defenders, if possible.

After watching Steve Slaton the past 2 years, he is BY FAR not a franchise back for a NFL team.....

If Jets take Mendenhall over McFadden...then Jets management is as bad as last seasons record. Mendenhall sucks. Jamal Charles is the other breakaway RB behind McFadden in my book.
