    I understand where you coming from but Im from the school of if a Qb gets the ball to you catch it period. Does not matter if it is a Brady bullet or a Chad loft. Good receivers catch the ball when it is throw to them. Period.
    Granted some passes are easier to catch from certain Qb's than others but that is no excuse to drop passes no matter who the QB is.

    Pretty expensive for a QB coach huh? Chad thinks hes a starter, god bless him, but he isnt. HE CANT MAKE SIMPLE THROWS. Timing comes with chemistry and expierience. Can we wait for him to develope that chemistry with other receivers? HES DONE

    How many times has he gotten us to the Afc Title Game? Beaten the Patriots in Jan? I would take Vinnie over Chad any day of the week and that's not saying much!

    :lol:Vinny was good here in 98. That's it. Chad brought us to the playoffs in 02,04,and 06. Pretty much every yer he was healthy except for last year. You wanna speak of the title game? go back to o4 and blame Herm and Doug Brien.

    I'm interested in the here and now reality of 08. The NYJ are going for it. They are putting their money creatively, where their mouth is. I can't wait for the draft -- I'm sure it's going to be as stunning and exciting as free agency still is today for the NYJ.

    In light of this, the NYJ CS are planning on a Chad vs Kellen competition. They think this will give them the best shot.

    It is fine and dandy for us fans to be fed up or frustrated or ready to "File 13" Kellen or Chad.

    But the guys whose butts are on the line are going for the competition as a response to all this work in Free Agency and in the Draft.

    Should be fun...

    Curtis Martin bought us to the playoffs in 02, 04 and 06. Curtis proved he could do it without a Qb. Chad has never proven he can do anything but be bad without a good to great supporting cast!

    Curtis wasn't here in 2006. In fact we had a horrible running game in 2006 and Curtis was badly injured in 2002. just stating facts

    This is the only logical approach to the situation as a fan. What you just posted. For people to run around here claiming they know Clemens is the guy,or even claiming Chad is the guy is ridiculous. Personally,right now IMO,Chad has the edge.
