    Last thing we want is a player disgruntled over money....dealt with that shit in Kendall and have Coles to worry about.

    not to mention shaun ellis if he can play at the level he use to be able to. he was a 14 sack guy one year. it will be easier for him to be at this level also now that he has jenkins. Good players make everyone around them better......

    No. The last thing we want is for him to come in and half ass it bc he does not need to play for the money any more. Or worse, find out that he sucks as a 3/4 NT.

    That's ALOT of money, I hate giving guys too much guaranteed money but I guess we'll have to suck it up w/ him and Faneca(hopefully).

    Especially because he's not going to be a stats guy you want him happy in green. He has to be pretty selfless to be a great NT so making him feel appreciated is important.

    A lot of money, but I think this guy can be very good and he should help shore up the run defense.

    "I'm actually looking forward to the challenge," Jenkins said in a conference call. "I'm a little bit excited about this upcoming season because I want to take on this task of this 3-4 defense.

    "I'm a nose tackle. There's no excuses. Basically, I get to be the big stud in the middle who makes it easier for the linebackers. ... I think it's a task I can handle."
