Screw Samuel. Put the money on the sure-shot.
For 10 million a year, I'd rather have Randy. We've had two chances to get him before, and didn't. The argument in the past was always Pennington and his arm, not Randy's price tag. It's Clemens' time. (Or is it? I have no idea anymore...seriously)
Randy Moss is the best Free Agent available. Not just the best FA-WR available. Randy Moss is an Absolute Game Changer. I know Samuel can be, but Randy Moss has been doing it far, far longer. And Randy Moss will not even break down before Feneca, so why can't we go all-in for the offense in FA?
Just sign Gay, he's far cheaper than Samuel and he can mature with Revis...ripen on the vine with Rhodes, etc.

Whats wrong with moss? Last year we didnt need the injury prone old man. Look what he did. Come on we are the cheapest team. We only trade our 1st rd picks in 3-4 years anyhow. Ex vilma, moss

I can't wait for the Pats to resign Moss so that we can end this annual event of most redundant threads ever.

Lets steal a guy who has a verbal agreement to talk with the Pats 1st. You know, that team that made it to the Super Bowl and almost went undefeated... Yeah, he wont return there, he'll pick a rebuilding team. Because thats what I would do in Moss' situation.

It's only redundant because either our front office doesn't visit theganggreen, or they don't apply the wisdom they find here when they visit.
Randy Moss just proved he's still one of the best players in the NFL. I'll repeat that for the sake of redundancy. Randy Moss is still one of the best players overall in the NFL. Is ANYONE on our team the best in the NFL, at just their positions?
    F NO....THEY'RE NOT.
We don't even have a Top 5 in the NFL, at any one position. Maybe Rhodes and Revis could be considered Top 10s at their position. Mangold too based on his future.
Randy Moss is arguably one of the top 10 guys in the entire league.
This argument deserves to be made every year, especially the years he's available.

When Moss was on a losing Minnesota team, how did he do?

When Moss was on an awful Oakland Team, how did he do?

If we get Moss and dont go to the playoffs.... He will have a 50 catch, 720yrd, 4 TD season, and be hurt for 4 games because he won't give a shit. Thats what he will do here.. we are never getting Moss until we are a pure contender... Like the team he has a verbal agreement with.

We can really stick it to the Pats if we bring Moss in and he wins a SB with us

Everyone knows Moss is resigning with NE, why would he want to leave Brady? If I'm the Jets FO though I would definetely contact him, just to drive up his price in NE would be a benefit to us..

Honestly I am not against Randy Moss coming here. Seriously we want a big time reciever, Moss is a big time guy, and that really increases our WR depth. Coles and Cotch would work out of the slot as well, and with a signing an OG like a Faneca or Bell our offense will be must improved. so with our Defense likely getting better, with the aquisition of Jenkins and the likely improvement of our defense in the first round, we could make a serious play at a deep playoff run if we stay healthy.

No one can question Moss's talent, but I think he found his niche in NE and he should stay there. It makes sense for both sides.

I don't know why it's constantly overlooked -- Moss will not get up to play for ANYONE but New England at this point. Bring him here and it's the Oakland situation all over again. Just forget it about, it won't and shouldn't happen.
