I just read Cimini's Jet Stream - says Vilma to Saints and to Carolina a 3rd rd pick for Kris Jenkins. What do you think we would get for Vilma?

The deal could be announced as early as later Thursday night or sometime on Friday. Vilma, 6 foot 1, 230 pounds, is a four-year NFL veteran. He played in nine games for New York, his season shortened by knee surgery. He had 43 total tackles in the nine games he played in 2007 for the Jets.
We dont even know if a 3rd is what we're getting for Vilma. It's just speculation, step back from the ledge and take a deep breath. Actually, jump.
We're not going to get much more than a 3rd for a player who everyone knows is a bad fit for our defense and has a balky knee.
First post. I have been a lurker for years. I thorougly enjoy the passion of us Jets fans, the educated posts (most of them!) and the humor. I was driving home at around 7:30 and ESPN radio's Doug Gotleib mentioned the Vilma to Saints trade. It was during his third topic on the big 3 stories of the day - Chris Mortenson was updating the listeners of the current NFL news and he said that the Saints were trying to seal the deal with the Jets (no other details) Exciting times for the Gang Green diehards!
