I don't know whether this info is new or not in this forum but his contract has apparently been voided by the Cheatroits. Can he be a potential replacement for McDroppeins? Do we even want him?
He's definitely an upgrade over mcdrop, but i for the money he'll probably seek, we could probably get a better threat.
I was always high on him with the Saints. I dont care to remember how many years i drafted him in fantasy ball thinking this would be the year he finally breaks out. Hes got talent, Id say hes definetely worth bringing in for a look-see. Coles, Cotchery, Stallworth, Smith and Stuckey is a nice group of wideouts.
We lack a legit deep threat.... Assuming the OL is improved, having Stallworth on the field would do a lot to open up our passing game....
2 wrs isn't enough we need to add 2 more wrs to the team (ideally a vet and a rookie) if we want to help clemens succeed stallworth is a good option, but i dont think he will be the guy we sign
Yes, he'd be an upgrade over McCariens, simple as that. Then Brad Smith can be our #4 and we'd be set at receiver
He would be a great signing, cause he has starter ability. Enough of the signing of back-ups. Stallworth is better than any WR the Jets' have.
He's a damn nice fit. He's a deep threat, he still takes short and intermediate routes, and is good after the catch.
I'd take Coles now and Cotchery over him. Stallworth has a ton of talent but he's never seemed to have been able to put it all together.
if there is a possibility of him coming cheap i think we will take a good look at him.. he is pretty much the same mold of reciever as coles and cotch, he might be a little faster tho so he could be that deep threat we are looking for. personally if theres any free agent wr out there i want that will come at a reasonable price its bryant johnson... hes a big guy around 6'3'' i think and im not sure we have any reliable recievers over 6 foot. he was even able to get in a few pretty good games with boldin and fitz on the field and with a quarterback mess.
Coles, Cotchery, Stallworth, Smith and Stuckey. Not a bad stable of WR to have around draft time and Stallworth would certainly alleviate any need to draft a WR unless the player picked represents a tremendous bargain.
