Nice. They traded for a first round bust Shamecock.

He'll fit nicely with Matt Jones...because 40 times mean everything in the NFL. If you can run a fast 40, you are worthy on being a first round receiver, even if you suck at catching.

Ur right...it normally takes 3 years for a college WR to develop into a viable NFL receiver. He never was a college WR, so ya gotta figure he has at least another year or 2 before he can be counted on as a 3rd WR on any NFL team. I like him, just not as our 3rd receiving option. Stuckey is still a "?" and has never played in an NFL game. We need to pick up somebody to compliment C & C.

As for Coles, we went the extra mile to guarantee his current contract. To me, that is how you say thank you to a veteran leader without hurting the long term success of your team. Sorry LC, but it's not like Master P negotiated your current deal.

And so continues the great Jaguars trend of obtaining fast, tall wideouts that don't produce JACK

I can kinda understand not paying for Kendall... What has he ever done for the Jets? But if the FO dont wanna pay Coles... Who will they pay? I luv the Jets but I just dont like the way things are going around here.

Coles aint getting the money he wants... when hes one player who gives it his all each and every game

Vilma, a pro bowl LB seems to be unhappy and seeking his own trade

K.Rhodes is a top 5 Safety in the NFL, and still... IS NOT locked up long term

Whats next? Whos next to go?

Relax, chicken little. It's normal for a new regime to change things from "the way they are". Obviously, the previous formula didn't work, so let's try a new one...even if it means giving up some of our fan faves. I'd rather win.

See my previous post. I don't want another Mo Lewis on our hands.

Vilma doesn't fit on our team. And I'm sure we won't give him up for less than his actual value to the team.

The guy has another year an a half under contract-talk about being alarmist.

The current FO has made very few "big mistakes"...I don't even think the Kendall situation has a verdict yet, so just relax and enjoy the ride.

Coles wants a lot of money...and though he's worked hard for this team, he doesn't have much left in the tank. He should shut his mouth and be happy that he is making as much as he is NOW.

Jonathan Vilma has dissappeared under Mangini. He's going to be gone after this season anyway, so we might as well get something for him.

The Front Office is trying to sign Rhodes. A deal will be worked out...eventually. I have no doubts about Rhodes signing a fair deal. He seems like a class act.

Hopefully, McCareins is the next to go...I also want to see Pennington shipped out. A backup with the arm of an 11 year old girl doesn't need to be making that much money.

Coles always has ankles injuries, but he plays through them usually. The main problem is he has a serious concussion issues. If Coles shut his mouth, he might've gotten some sort of extension on his contract, but now that he's brought the issue up publicly, Tangini will probably make him an example.

Randy Moss is arguably the biggest pussy in the NFL, but that doesn't matter because he's the most talented when he plays up to his potential. He is one of the best deep threats of all-time and he's still got more time to build on that.

Terrell Owens doesn't like to go over the middle. He will occasionally, but he doesn't like it. I love when people knock him for dropping the ball. He catches mostly everything, and usually turns it into a big gain...but when he drops a pass or two, he's an overrated big mouth. In my opinion, he's the most dangerous receiver in the game.

I knew Jags would go with Williamson over Coles.

The Jags have a very strict business model. With the notable exception of Maurice Jones Drew, they refuse to sign ANYBODY who isn't over 8 feet tall. (Its' true!)

    LC never had a chance.

Coles while a decent reciever is a malcontent when it comes to the $$$. The Jets were unwilling to give him the big payday that he wanted so he left for Washington. Two seasons later he gets a trade that he wanted back to NY and gets more money out of the Jets. Now he has 2 years left on his present contract and is looking for a renegotiation. Coles is on the downside of his NFL carrer and is one big hit away from leaving football for good.I for one wouldn't give him a new contract.

How about giving him a contract clause that protects the Jets in case of a concussion? They gave a deal like that to Wayne in his later years. That way coles gets his money if he stays healthy, and if he gets concussed and his career is essentially over, the Jets are protected.
