Glad I was wrong. I heard one ofthe NFL network dopes say that. We need to get him. Teach Brick and Mangold to be nasty.
There was a lot of hype about Brick blowing up Bryan Thomas in a drill in his rookie season in anger and a lot of hype about how all they need to do is find out how to get him angry enough to play with a mean streak. At the end of his second season, I'm sad to say I'm close to agreeing with you.
yawn. wasn't worth the lootcakes. wait a second. he's great! holy shit! he's like a mix b/t warren sapp and reggie white! 20M, peanuts for such a dominant force. how did we ever pull the wool over the rest of the leagues eyes? steal of the century! thanks fatboy!
We don't need Parcells to tell us this; it should already be obvious. Making a serious run at Faneca would be a good move.
For the people who don't think D'Brick has a mean streak...did anyone watch the stretch from Week 3 to about the bye? I think Jason Taylor and a whole group of others would say he has a mean streak... He just needs to get bigger...but like many here I don't think it'll happen because he's had 2 years to do it and it hasn't happened yet. You see, nothing good is possible to happen until it happens...tell your kids that.
I don't get the impression you're paying much attention to D'Brick. Better get out those tapes and charts some more of those offensive plays.
Brick has the talent, we've seen it... mean streak needs to be more consistent, but he has one... Brick also has the 32nd most talented starting LG in the NFL in Adrien Clarke.. It makes a difference. Why has SD's LT Marcus McNeil gone to the Pro Bowl? Because perennial pro bowler LG Kris Dielman is next to him.. it makes a big difference.
