    Does he get his #28 retired with the Jets. I think and sure hope he does.

    Yes, when he RETIRES. We know he's going to be around for at least another season, as he dosen't care too much about salary and is a good bargain for that much expierience and leadership at the pay.

    If and when he gets into the HOF, then his # can be retired.... I'm not a fan of retiring #s before players go into the HOF.

    If???? If??!! There is no if. Curtis is a 1st ballot hall of famer.

    curtis martin is far from done i see him rebounding next year in a big way the man is a quiet player who gets the job done who will restructure to help the team any way he can and not be a selfish egotistical $%^&*@*

    for sure anyone who ranks that high all as an all time rusher and is that great of a class act should deserve that

    He'll be in the top 5 for all time rushing leaders for years to come i'm sure...


    so why wouldnt he get his # retired?..

    I think Ty Law should have his # retired! He did SO much for us!

    Yeah, like helping the Jets win the last game of the season, and therefore preventing them from simply being able to draft Young or Leinart (Cutler, Who?). Now everyone's favorite word "trade" is floating around. Thanks a bunch Ty.

    lets worry about him restructuring his contract. curtis has been a solid back for the jets, but i dont see him getting his number retired. if al toons number is still up for grabs, curtis shouldnt have his retired.

    We've had quite a few bunch of sticky handed players wear #88 after Toon. :lol:
