-J-slack: GOOD RIDDANCE -Clarke: We let him start all of last season, and he's cheap...would be stupid not to keep him around for depth. -Graham: Sorry Oz, but we need a real punter. -Dyson: WTF happened to this guy...was our best CB in '06...the guy we could count on...I want that guy next to revis next year...perhaps a career ending injury?
Me too...his situation remains a mystery to me...was he playing hurt last season....what did he do for mangini to pretty much put him in the doghouse.
wasn?t he banged up all season. Barett would be a much more obvious cut, because he has a bigger contract.
I enjoy the fact that we are tossing out the garbage like Mccareins, and Clarke, but tossing Benny Graham and Dyson pre-march 1rst is irresponsible imo. We should bring in competition for these 2 spots in TC and then keep the winners and toss the losers. competition breeds better play, and I'm not exactly excited to be going in to next season with Jeremy Kapinos as our punter. And I really have no idea what happened to Dyson. I'm fairly certain that whatever his injury was, it destroyed his level of play.
This just says what Cimini believes will happen. It's all speculation on his part. He was saying JMac was going to be cut last year too and that never happened. I won't get too excited until they are actually cut.
After he got deactivated Week 16 he came back with a strong game in Week 17. I really don't see any reason to cut him now unless they have already decided he has no chance to make the team next season.
It would be nice if we had are own personal contacts with the Jets to know why certain players don’t fit anymore or if they are done. McCarran’s is no loss what so ever! He will probably go to another team as a 3 receiver on the depth chart and finally start catching balls and fool that team! Clarke had an uphill battle to not be labeled as a waste so this news may indicate he can’t hang. Dyson would be a disappointment. Maybe he has an injury that will end it all or will keep him rehabbing into this year’s camp which would not lend to having a player ready to go on opening day (how long do you carry this guy?) Ben Grams wasn’t given good field position all year, I don’t recall if he was also battling leg injuries. I am not getting excited yet it only says these guys may be cut!
