Nothing else to do, so I have the Pro Bowl on. AFC is up 7-0 after a TD by Lorenzo Neal. This game is so pointless that it's funny.
I almost always watch, just for one last glimpse of a Jet before the offseason... But there are no Jets so I'm watching but not that interested.... Had nobody dropped out, this game would be pretty much NE vs DAL.... EDIT.... After seeing a shot of the cheerleaders all dancing together, I've come to a terrible realization... The Jets Flight Crew wears about 3x as much clothing as any other cheerleading crew... Very depressing...
I think Devin Hester is hilarious. His first return, gets chased out by Cromartie, and he throws the ball at his face. Next return chased out by Bailey, he smack talks. You can tell its all in good fun, and he must be saying something like 'yo homie i be too quick'
Owens is going to get MVP. a lot of hook-ups between him and Garcia, too. Of course TO called Garcia gay a few years ago. They also celebrated after Garcia hit Owens with the TD
AD challenging Owens now. He has 2 TDs and the 2nd most rushing yards in a Pro Bowl (behind only Marshall Faulk, who had 180).
I know you can't judge a player on his Pro Bowl because it's a different playbook and different players, but Derek Anderson has looked terrible. Last two times I watched him, he played like crap. He cost the Browns that game against the Bengals (and thus the playoffs), and he's costing the AFC the Pro Bowl.
http://sports.aol.com/fanhouse/2008...ins-pro-bowl-mvp-says-the-true-mvp-is-sean-t/ Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson put on a show for the last time of his rookie season today in Hawaii, running 16 times for 129 yards and two touchdowns in the Pro Bowl, leading the NFC to victory and receiving the game's most outstanding player award. More importantly, Peterson showed once again that he's a bright, articulate and classy young man as well as a terrific football player. After the game, Peterson made sure to pay tribute to Sean Taylor, the Washington Redskins safety who was murdered during the 2007 season and was posthumously selected to the Pro Bowl. "The true MVP is Sean Taylor," Peterson told Brian Baldinger of FOX after the game, via PFT. "This is also in honor of him and dedicated to him." Taylor's Redskins teammates all wore his No. 21 in the Pro Bowl to honor him.
