    NO LINK YET -

ESPN's Sal Palontonio is reporting that Belichicken is to be suspended for a year if Matt Walsh has video proof from the Ram's Super Bowl walk-through.

It doesn't get any better then this...

    :)

yeah but they also say it's "highly unlikely" that Walsh still has the film :(

I was in my car just now and caught a blurb by M&MD about "a tape" that someone supposedly made a copy of. And the guy in posession of this tape was supposedly in AZ this weekend with it, so Mike was talking to Phil Simms about it and how it could come back on the PatriCheats. Mike said the Rams were very interested in seeing it reviewed and then Mike said, "And they have every right to want that."

Don't know any more about it... I just caught the last of the conversation about it.

Mike also said that people around Belichoke claimed that he "wasn't himself" for the game. Whatever that means, but it may be that he already knew he was a dead man and likely suspended.

Mike Golik on Mike & Mike this morning called Belicheat's decision to go for it on 4th and 13 a "brain fart." Greenie basically said he thought it was some kind of joke, he couldn't believe anybody would make that call (and I felt the same way at the time... i was like... WTF?). A field goal attempt would have been a 49 yarder and the Pats kicker had been consistently making 50-53 yarders inside that domed stadium with no wind. And it was only the 3rd quarter! If anything, Belicheat could have pinned Manning back to his 10-yard line with a punt, but 4th and 13? COME ON!

So yeah, maybe Belicheat had some other things on his mind.....

From the Miami Herald chat via thebiglead.com

Question: Doesn't Arlen Specter & the US Senate have more important concerns than how the NFL handles its diciplinary matters? Is this what they need all of that tax money for? Pete, Lebanon, PA 2/01/08

Answer: yes but if congress is going to be involved in steroids it should be involved in this too....its the same crap....i'll never understand why people make the distinction between steroids and spygate....it is the same thing.....what do you hear with spygate? everyone does it. well, yeah, but same goes for steroids, right? we are now learning that EVERYONE DID IT....and yet steroids creates hysteria and everyone in football talks about spygate being overblown....they won three super bowls by three points...it wouldn't take much of an advantage to be a HUGE advantage....this story have been overcovered but underreported....i've heard second hand about doug flutie being amazed when he got there that the plays were being piped into his helmet warning brady what was coming.....we've tried to talk to flutie on our radio show about it but he hangs up on my producer..... I'll wait for Goodell to confirm this report before I believe it. And if the NFL is telling the truth that they already looked into this issue then I don't see it going anywhere.

It's not going anywhere.... Cheese and Macaroni is the owner with the most power in the league and the NFL doesn't want to be lumped in with the NBA in terms of fixed games. With gambling being suc a huge part of the NFL there is no way they could ever allow this to leak out.

dude if this is true, everything tha pats have done will become tainted. This dynasty will become a circus and the GPC will begin, thats a big if though.

I cant see this Walsh guy not being on the pats staff since 2003 and not saying anything when the whole spygate thing first broke. Especially if he had evidence, the whole thing stinks to high heaven.
