Apparently his feelings were too hurt.

Or all of a sudden his "shoulder injury" has reappeared.

And now Moss joins him. Chad Johnson to replace him.

Are you saying that Derek Anderson doesn't deserve to be in the Pro Bowl?

If so, I think you are completely wrong - the guy played his ass off and helped bring a team that no one thought had a chance into serious playoff contention and one of the most dangerous offenses in the league.

    If not, then disregard

...... not sure if this was posted anywhere else, this from SI's pop culture list...

    http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2008/extramustard/01/30/popculture.list/index.html

    Tom Brady

Forget about "Boot Gate," "Taped-Ankle Gate" and any other "gate." We're guessing Brady will play in the Super Bowl and cap the greatest season of any player ever for the greatest team ever and celebrate with the hottest girlfriend ever. Anything less will go down as the greatest upset ever......

Naturally, that was written before the game on Sunday..

I guess maybe that ankle was bugging him a little more than he let on.

i think it was more the giants pass rush then his ankles, or his ol inability to block

You shouldn't be an NFL quaterback if you are not willing to get pummeled every now and then. I guess we saw that he not the greatest QB ever, maybe a sixth round QB. He didn't play well at all under pressure. Any body can be a good quaterback when you have all day to throw. There is nothing better than to have seen him get pummeled and humbled. The same goes for bellichick, Bruschi, vrabel, seau, moss. They lost all their arrogance and all the NFL pundits are not sucking up to them anymore.

He begged out because of some golf tournament. Pebble Beach or something. You'd think he'd skip that idea, seeing as the Giants nearly beat him to death with golf clubs on Sunday as it is.

I guess that he didn't want his delicate ears to be accosted with the abuse that was sure to come from various "teammates." Lets be honest here. You don't think that there are some players (from Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, New York etc.) who would have 19-0 shirts (with N.E.*'s logo underneath and below that "Ha, Ha, Ha") printed up and be wearing them to practice? Think about all the people, and teams, that were on the receiving end of N.E.*'s trash talking this season (and spy-gate making many players feel that they were cheated) and tell me that there isn't some bad blood between these guys. Add in that all the press (and everybody else for that matter) would want to talk about is the loss and your talking about the vacation from hell. Pitty he's not man enough to stand up and take it.
