Anyone catch this in today's Mushnick column? It's beautiful:

Pats owner Bob Kraft, in the CBS booth with Jim Nantz during the PGA's FBR/Phoenix Open, Saturday, said jokingly, "We promised Fox we'd keep it close for a half."

Hopefully, Congress will dig up enough dirt on this a-hole and we can take away his other 2 rings, just like Putin did.

    Kraft scum

Maybe Kraft will get his lawyers to draft Belicheat's congressional statement. The shame that will befall this team in the wake of spygate will last forever!!!!!:pats_suck::pats_suck:

I'm laughing thinking about Krafts wife who HATES Belli-cheat and has told her husband to fire him multiple times. Now if they prove he cheated and it brings disgrace upon the Pats, That drunk bastard will have to listen to "I told you so" for the rest of his miserable life.

Don't get me wrong, it's devastating to this franchise that they were on the brink of history and couldn't pull the trigger, they absolutely choked at the end. But, it's not as if this year was a failure for them as a team at all. They had one of the most successful regular seasons ever and their main nucleus should be back, most owners would kill to be in the position Kraft is at right now after the "trauma" of going 16-0 but not winning the title.

And I would also like to add that it doesn't make it sound like a fanbase has an unhealthy obsession with their rival when they search for every little faux pas by the other guy and use it to crucify him.

most owners would want the three rings, but would most owners want their team under a cloud because of their alleged cheating for years?

Who knows what else they're guilty of doing over there. We'll never find out with the biggest Patriots fan in the world as the NFL Commisioner though. Mr. Roger "Destroy the Evidence" Goodell.

Yes, the man who grew up in the Bronx and started his career w/ the Jets clearly has ulterior motives to crown the Patriots above everyone else.

Guess what? We don't care what you think is healthy and unhealthy, you know what else isn't healthy? Cheating on your wife and cheating to gain accolades in your occupation.

And he would try to cover it up for any team involved in such accusations. It may kill him to back New England, but he'll do it for the sake of the league. And yes, $500k and a 1st round pick is a slap on the wrist considering what they were involved with. Why destroy anything if there is absolutely nothing to hide? It's bullshit. You know it, I know it, we all know it.

I'm sure Goodell wants these accusations to disappear as much, if not more, than the Patriots fan base does. If they are able to prove that the Patriots cheated in even one of those Super Bowls and the league turned a blind eye, it will not only taint the Patriots organization but the entire league as well. If all of those accusations are proven true, I for one will still follow the Dolphins, but it would be like picking a favorite WWF wrestler.

Oh you better believe it bro. That 1 win more than made up for those 18 Mondays of torture. This day was better than the day after 2003 ALCS by far.

Now if only the Lakers can beat the Celtics in the finals I'll be doing the IRL banana dance all over downtown Boston

Dude I am so torn, I never liked the Lakers but I love Pau Gasol so it's tough but I don't think Boston has earned their way into the NBA Finals yet. In the NBA you have to get some playoff experience before getting there.
