I wonder why it says it will be pick 33-97. Is it possible that we could have the 33rd pick, even though that's not in the 3rd round?

It's the 33rd pick in round 3, right before round 4, and the 97th overall player.

Sucks we only get one pick though, but it's nice to be a 3rd rounder.

Two 1sts, two 3rds and two 4ths ... not bad. Plenty of ammo if we want to trade up, or we can just walk away with a load of good prospects.

its the 33rd pick in the 3rd round, the 97th overall, so it is in the third round, b/c it is before the first pick of the official start of the 4th round

This is great news, we get another pick in the top 100. So now in the first 4 rounds we have 7 picks. 2 first round picks, a 2nd round pick, 2 3rd round picks and 2 4th round picks. And this gives us 5 of the top 100 players on our board. Can't ask for much more then that.

But only 1 pick? I was expecting a 3rd for Jordan and a 4th for McKenzie at the very least...

Yeah, thanks, I didn't get that. Hopefully our last pick of the first day of the draft/third round is better than the one the Broncos took last year.

It doesn't work that way, we lost 4 guys and signed 3 guys so we only get one pick. If we had lost 5 guys and signed 3 we would have gotten 2 picks.

We lost Becht, Mckenzie, Ferguson and Jordan

We signed blaylock, Legree and Gardner. Once they figure out those numbers then they break it down by salary.

We lost 4 starters and signed 3 backups. That's not an apples to apples comparison.

im confused though, those guys are all of lesser value than becht, mckenzi and ferg, so were not getting any more comp picks?

why do we only get one?
