Celebrity Jet Fans

Anyone know if George Carlin is a Jets fan? He was born in NYC and often speaks of football in his comedy. I know in his Complaints and Grievances album he references the Jets (along with other teams as well). Anyone know for sure?

 

I think Larry David is a Jets fan....

 

Governor Schwartzenegger is a Wayne Chrebet Fan. He was interviewed during halftime at The Miracle at The Meadowlands game, and he called it. "I think the Jets will come back and win, I like Wayne Chrebet".

Larry David is a big Jets fan... Tanny has said that Larry called him the night before the 06 draft to ask him to draft Reggie Bush...

Gotta figure he is the perfect Jets fan... eternal pessimist, who roots for a team that hasn't won in years. Shoot, he might be Champ 69....

I saw that show, he said he 'started out' as a Jets fan and then it changed when he became a sports journalist. And then he proceeded to imply he was a Giants fan.

 

I know that Michael Imperioli, who plays Christopher Multisanti in "The Sopranos," is a huge Jets fan because he's been on camera at the stadium while I've been watching Jets games. If I'm not mistaken, his seats are in the Mezzanine Section opposite mine (on the Jets side of the field), and if I remember correctly, he sits in Row #1 along the rail.

It's one thing for a "personality" to be a Jets fan and quite another to actually attend the games, so for this, I respect Michael as a Jets fan.

He's from NY. They were talking some football during the Laker game with Clyde and Breen last night, I was waiting to see if Kenny was a Jet fan. He didn't claim to be a Giant fan, so it's possible.

 

Mike Tirico. Was made fun of by Tony Bruno back during the Kotite era. Tony called Chrebet "an arena league player" and Tirico defended Wayne but was accused of being a homer. If you look closely during last years Monday night football commercials you see a McFarlane Pennington figure in Tirico's office.

 

How about "The Jersey Boys"??

Seth is not a Jets fan... He just likes the colors. Ive known him since 92 and he tried to buy a penn state jersey from me for the numbers 32 on it. which represents the DB or Doobie Brothers.
