I want to get people's opinion on this tidbit from the WHISPERS section at PFW "There is some confusion about whether the Ravens will block defensive coordinator Rex Ryan from making a lateral move and taking a position elsewhere. However, Ravens spokesman Chad Steele told PFW early in January that none of the Ravens? assistants, including Ryan, would be stopped if they sought work elsewhere. Already one Ravens assistant, LB coach Jeff FitzGerald, has left for the same job in Cincinnati." I think right now Mangini is waiting to see if he gets hired in Washington before he makes a move. I know a LB coach isn't the same thing as a DC, but Jim Harbaugh is defensive guy and might want to bring in his own assistants and run a blitz-oriented type scheme similar to Philadelphia. Thoughts?
Its out of the Jets hands. They have to play the waiting game for Ryan. He wants to coach a 3-4 team, and if we are the only team left he'll end up here.. but he'll not want to come here on his own.

Now what? There is no one left with name recognition. Are we waiting on the super bawl for a patriot assistant?
