Has anyone noticed the Redskins tearing their coaching staff apart since Gibbs left? I know that Al Davis escaping the old folks home and trying to fire his teenage coach is the ESPN story, but weren't the Skins establishing some stability for the first time under Snyder? Now they replace Al Saunders with Jim Zorn at OC. Williams is likely out as DC, as he was expecting to be promoted to Head Coach. And they might be bringing in Jim Fassel? I guess two playoff appearances in three years with relative peace and quiet was intolerable to Snyder. I was actually starting to respect the Skins a little.
I don't understand why the Redskins would hire Jim Zorn to be the offensive coordinator when the team does not have a head coach. Head coaches should be allowed to select their assistant coaches.
