That would not surprise me. Parcells has always been good at working with emotional basket cases, social degenerates and egocentric, psychological misfits. Look at his relationships with MeShawn and TO.

The only thing is, Shockey did call Parcells a "faggot," and I'm not sure Bill is gonna put up with that kind of bullshit.

if we needed a TE i would take him, but we dont so we do not need him, chris baker is a very capable TE, just needs to learn how to block a bit better but that will come with time, maybe this year is the year he gets alot better with his blocking.

We have a more than capable TE already in Baker we just don't use him. We have bigger needs to tend to.

Listen, Shockey is a pain in the ass and not what this team needs. He certainly doesn't fit the "Mangini" mold we've all come to praise but he is a play maker. But, on the other hand, the Giants blew because they had too many cooks in the kitchen running their mouths. Between Tiki, Shockey, Osi, Strahan and Burress it was getting out of control. The elimination of Tiki from the roster calmed things down in the locker room and the removal of Shockey due to injury eliminated him from the equation, thus calming things down. Osi still has a big mouth but its just him. Strahan and Burress are leaders of this team and they don't speak against the team and certainly don't bring negative press and distractions.

So no, for that reason, I wouldn't want Shockey. His complaining that he's not getting enough plays is exactly what we don't need. Let the Giants shop him for a late first round or early second round pick. Kevin Boss is a great TE steal for them, they're set.

I love how people are arguing "bigger needs" but the general population would still draft Mcfadden if he was there at #6.... Im just asking somebody to look at the increased potency of our offense with Shockey, and tell me it wouldnt bring about a smile.

The Patriots will get him with their 4th round pick.

They'd be giving away too much value with the 4th on Shockey bro. More like a conditional 7th, if he makes the Pro Bowl and breaks all the TE records.

4th they'll use on Chad Johnson to put on the other side of Moss.

I posted that as a joke initially, but It got me thinking. Am I wrong to say that Randy Moss was in the exact light last year? Same things were being said about him, and the whole nine yards. Then Moss just happens to return to form, and decides to explode on almost every team they played.

    Fun times..

We are not trading him, and he is not a bad guy, his teammates love him.

Yeah, it's funny how we joke about the Patriots and all the crazy shit that could go down but the scary part is when you stop and think "oh, that could really happen".

If they get 85 and retain Moss they'll probably go 19-0 next year too.

We want Kevin Boss. Maybe we can teach him to block, though. :p

Except at his best Moss is one of the best receivers of all time.

Shockey is overrated. He's a good player but he's not one of the real elite tight ends like Gonzalez, Gates, Witten, etc. imo.

Kevin Boss has become known for his pass blocking and giving manning more time to throw.

I'd love to have a 2 TE set with Boss and Baker.

Could get a running game going.

For every spectacular catch Shockey makes, there's an equal number of balls that bounce off his numbers when he's wide open in the end zone. Overrated pass catcher IMO. He seems to live off a pass-catching rep that he doesn't back up. Pass.

It would be much worse for me if I were in your shoes. Your only a fins fan, I am a Yankees,Jets,Knicks, and Rangers fans, they would be calling for my head on a metal plate. South Florida is known to be a haven for transplanted new yorkers, but recently their has been a major boom of transplant bostonians. I bump into them all the time. And since I always have my Yankee hat on It never fails to hear their rude comments, and they do it in such a way as if trying to pick a fight. I mean I hate Boston teams, but not to the extent I would want to kick somebody's rear end over. Fins fans, and Jets fans taunt each other down here like their is no tommorrow, but Redsox fans take it to a whole new level. Because their migration is so recent, this is totally new to me. If they're that bad down here, I could imagine over there especially if you root for a rival team, so I feel your pain. Maybe you should consider moving down here to Miami. You'll fit right in. 1 question though, how did you become a dolphins fan? and what inspired you to post on a jets board? Just curious.

whoever still thinks we need mcfadden this draft is a moron, with holes in the O-line mcfadden would be injury prone.
