Damn, the AFC East is such a damn frustrating division to be in and now its gotten worse with the Tuna in Miami. He's going to turn that team around in 3 years max IMHO

The Jets need to step up.

But on a more serious note, if we trade down with anyone it will probably be Dallas, not the Jets.

It has been really interesting watching Bill pillage the entire Dallas front office and Jones is doing NOTHING about it. Especially, the Sparano and Lee hires. Jerry Jones is no fool, and if we know that Sparano was hired while still in Dallas, and probably recruited Lee while still in Dallas, don't you guys think Jones knows this too? lol.

It may be entirely possible that Jones is keeping quite and not crying foul to the league because he doesn't want to burn bridges with Parcells. He's sitting quiet because Parcells is going to give him a discount on the #1 pick

Edit: Maybe something alone the lines of Miami's #1 for Dallas' #22, #28, some 2nd day pick, and Fasano. Losing value yes, but that's probably the best deal Bill will get.

Loyalty in any Parcells regime is a very portable thing. His minions will follow him until they're given a HC gig somewhere else.

But if you're Jerry Jones right now aren't you absolutely pissed that Bill just pillaged your entire team(some of it done blatantly against league rules) and you have nothing to show for it?

    Remember, I'm a Jets' fan and I still vividly recall Beli-cheat's one-day coaching gig...lol

Off course I would be pissed. But Jones is a smart guy. He'll find a way to make lemonade out of a lemon but I don't think that this would translate into any significant leverage when it comes down to trade talks with Tuna regarding the No.1 pick.
