AT THE #4 spot we can take the best player available the top 5 or 6 players all address our needs and any combo will be a great addition .... of course everybody will complain no matter what or who we pick D'Brick Williams Cutler Hawk and Bush (longshot).................What do you think? Trading down is also a good option. Trading up is a mistake. There are so many good players in the first two rounds of the draft that I can't see us really making any horrible decisions... BUT ........LETS SEE.....
It's far more likely that Lienart makes it to #4 than Bush. I'd much rather we took a proven winner in Lienart or Young than Cutler. I know this debate is all over the forum but I cringe every time I see someone wanting to take Cutler at #4.
Please, don't ever put the words "can't go wrong" in the same sentence as the nfl draft. That's like the kiss of death. Every pick has a ton of risk and you never know what's going to happen to a 22 year old kid when you give him a signing bonus.
I agree Look at Brady he was a 6th round pick that worked out beyond belief. then you have Couch who was a bust. My school of thought is take the best player available at the time and hope he works out. My other point is the Jets have many needs and any of the top prospects would fit into any teams rebuilding. But like I said lets see ......its still the jets, I hope this the beginning of successful years to come
