I can't believe nobody has started this thread yet... I'll make it a poll as well to make it look better on chart. Multiple choice, pick 4 obviously. Redskins Jaguars Giants Chargers
Seahawks, Bucs (despite how well the Giants played vs the Pats), Jaguars and Chargers. It's gonna be interesting, but not that interesting. I'm mostly watching Jags vs Steelers and Giants vs Bucs to be the better games.
The Bucs/Giants game doesn't interest me at all, and I don't care who wins because they'll get ousted next round. I don't want to hear the media talk about either QB all next week earlier: Eli turning it around and becoming a real pro, or how Jeff Garcia just keeps on winning despite being a "gay cancer patient" with no talent around him and a hot wife. Chargers, Titans might be ok because of the recent showing of teeth, but will probably still suck because VY is hard to watch in the pros. I'll watch them all but probably pay the most attention to the Sat. games. Skins/Seahawks to see if Todd Collins can keep it rollin, and Jags/Steelers because it should be a good one, with the added incentive of seeing if either has a chance at causing my sig. Damn, what a pointless post. I need to try to sleep.
I'm surprised so little hope in the Steelers... still, I like the Jags, but I wonder if their defense will be good enough after the Steelers.
Steelers sucked big time after our W over them. Their D played horrible the last few weeks, even the Rams O looked good against them, and they might have the worst O-Line in the league right now. The steelers Front 7 couldn?t catch Steven Jackson despite pretty bad blocking, and the old man Isaac Bruce found one hole after the other in their secondary, he was open all day. And Polamalu should think about starting to brake down before the Tackle, he either lays a hit on someon or he misses, that?s not good Football. And their O won?t be as dangerous as it was with Willie. Without him, their Playaction won?t work that well, and i?m not sure if Big Ben can throw 40 times a game. And the Jags, they do nothing great but they do everything good, i think that?s enough for a very shakey steelers team.
Redskins over Seahawks, although that will be a crap game to watch. Steelers over Jags... lol Giants over Bucs. Chargers over Titans. Will be brutal. Late hits all round. Not a great lineup of games.
Seahawks-Redskins will be a good game to watch. My edge goes to Seattle. Jaguars-Steelers is another good game to watch, game of the weekend. Jags in a close one. Giants-Buccaneers is a good one too, I am taking the G-Men. And finally, an actual crapper. Titans-Chargers. Chargers win.
I hope the Skins handle the Seahawks with ease. I'd love to see the Skins win it all after this year, I don't see it happening but it would be a truly inspirational story. Jags/Steelers should be a good game, looking forward to it.
Seahawks-Redskins : Redskins got my vote. Jaguars-Steelers : Jaguars got my vote. Best game this weekend. They're a team on a role. Fred Taylor healthy + Jones-Drew = Nice combo. It'd be great to see them run all over the Steelers, again. Giants-Buccaneers : Giants got my vote. I see them winning this round, but get eliminated the next. Titans-Chargers : Chargers with ease.
We'll see who makes a pick on this game now. As of this posting: Redskins 0, Seahawks 10, 2:00 remaining in 1st half. I made my pick an hour ago. The 15th vote for the Seahawks came in just recently. The score was either 7-0 or 10-0 at the time of that pick.
