..Myself along with a few other JETS fans like the Idea of drafting Jake Long and Moving D'Brick.

If we don't I won't be upset unless D'Brick continues his BS and gets our QB Killed and we make no attempts at suring up our O-Line.

All i'm asking is that you watch the Michigan game today and watch big ol #77.
They'll run behind him constantly and he delivers....
    Truly a Beast.

    afa using another pick on an O-Linemen think...Cowboys + O-Line = Emmit's career.

    Go BLUE!

Hes a junior correct? Not sure if hell declare. But if he does hes going to light up the combine. 50 bench reps maybe?

He's a senior. Top OT in the draft.

Honestly, I wouldn't mind it...but i rather draft defense. Lets see what we do with free agency.

As others have noted, he is a senior and yes, is the top OT in the draft. I don't think he will be there at #6, but you never know.

The only thing additional is, I really think the Front Office will address our offensive line quickly in the FA market. I do not think they will risk it being sub-par for next year.

Banking on Jake Long being there at #6, is risky from the standpoint of, it would mean that our offensive line isn't quite fixed yet. After this season, that is a hell of a gamble.

    1. Theres no chance in hell we're moving D'Brick.

    2. Its highly unlikely we spend another top 10 pick on OL.

    3. Jake Long would be a much better RT than D'Brick.

    4. We need a good G next to D'Brick, not to move him, draft someone else very high, and call him a bust.

    5. D'Brick isn't even a bust. He has a good game, few people mention it. He has a bad game...and suddenly it's time to dump him...he's a bust...whine whine whine.

Long does indeed look like an elite OT. If he is there at 6, I think the Jets have to consider it. Don't think he will be though. Should be gone in the top 4 picks.

No, no more drafting Top 10 lineman. Use FA to solve all our o-line problems.

Which has always been my position. Build the O-Line via FA & Lower picks....
....unless there is a franchise LT Available and I believe Long to be that.

Most likely he won't be there true and I love the mentality of some blaming the lack of a Guard for D'Brick sucking at times....

Also just for the record, I have been hard on D'Brick but I have yet to ever call him a bust.........yet.

If I remember correctly 2 of his sacks came from the opposite side and other than that he really didn't light up the box score.

Trade Brick? That is among the dumbest things I have ever read on this board...

And Jake Long has almost no chance of being there when we pick...

If Jake Long is there KC will not pass on him, I'd bet my house on it.

Also, where the hell can you move Dbrick?

    Gholston vs. Long

I believe this clip was from 2006 when Gholston was a sophmore and Long was a junior. Wow!
