I'll tell you, throughout the day I thought the Giants were going to get whooped. But when it came to halftime, I thought they had a shot at winning. But then they just got sloppy and then you know the rest.

No Superbowl win for the Patriots and it was ultimately all for nothing.

Spiking the ball on NOT-TOUCHDOWN plays is a personal foul and delay of game but this was a touchdown. I doubt Moss was thinking that the ref was behind him when they spiked it and it didn't strike me as particularly egregious.

I read this mourning that it was for a group celebration which I also don't get. Apparently now jumping and high fiving teammates after scoring a go-ahead TD is unsportsmanlike.

    What a special season....

Exposed as cheaters.... then start running up scores like classless jerks... then getting bailed out by "spotty officiating" ....

    you must be proud

Bitter Eh? I dunno, breaking records, going unbeaten, having a decent shot at winning yet another Superbowl, playing 60 minute football which is exciting to watch, hearing other fans whine like a bunch of schoolgirls, the Jets fans being the biggest culprits. Even a mod on this board sounded like he wanted to hang himself, packed his toys and left the sandpit in a huff. Yeah I think most fans would take that. Right now the Jets have only a draft pick to look forward to....kinda like rearranging the deckchairs on the Titanic. Pure entertainment.

I am! I choose to look at the positives in life. :)

It's just a game, and I really enjoy winning too. It's a lot of fun. I hope you feel better soon.

On another note, is there any way the NFL can arrange to have Chris Collinsworth be the color analyst for every NFL game?
