something different. I don't know that he'd be worth the cost. http://bills.scout.com/2/512632.html Moulds seeking options By Keith Jasper Date: Mar 23, 2006 After rejecting two contract restructure proposals from the Buffalo Bills, Eric Moulds has started to pursue options for leaving the Bills. The top teams with interest in Moulds are the Denver Broncos leading in interest, followed by the Kansas City Chiefs, New York Jets, Philiadelphia Eagles, and New England Patriots.
problem is he won't come at the right price because I'm sure that not only will he want a pretty hefty contract, the Bills will want compensation in the form of a draft pick.
It only just doesnt rhyme, it looks real good. I think moulds knows buffalo is not going to win anything any time soon, and probably doesnt like the arrangement buffalo has, so he might come at the right price, i really think we are closer than the bills in winning so he is smart wanting out.
I think the Eagles should go after him. Any team starting Pinkston needs alot of help at that position
good/solid receiver, but he will command a price that's not worth th JETS offering. Good pickup for an established team, but not worth it for a team with holes to fill and a ? at QB........ (still better than McCareins though) :drunk:
Any Price. #4,#29. Pennington to Coles, Moulds, Vernon Davis, Baker, Maroney, Martin. unf*ngstoppable.
ummm... do we even know if Pennington can throw the ball? (btw, I love Chad, but last year was a bad sign) IMO, the #$$ are better spent elsewhere
04, San Diego, Fresh Injury. Moss 56 yards in the Air. Strike, 7. Its not how hard, its the timing of the thing.
exactly. given all the needs of the JETS, the timing of dolling out $$ for a WR on the downside of his career would be RETARDED. granted Moulds is a good WR (when healthy) but it's a bad fit. I wouldn't be surprised to see him go to the Birds.
I don't get this. A high priced player in the twilight of his career. Another one. These aren't the types of players we need to be seeking out. I don't get it, unless it's just to cloud the Jets' draft picture or FA closed-door dealings.
Probably smoke and mirrors..to hide our intentions. He would be a good pickup for a 2 year deal. Then we draft his replacement next season.
No thanks. We have a very able receiving corps, if not spectacular and I would like to see how they fare with a good QB and O-line before we go spending money on that position. We have many other glaring holes, namely the aforemenctioned O-line to fill with the money we have left.
Did you make this post during an ambien night walk? Penny=Injured Coles =#2 Receiver Moulds =Not with the JETS Davis =Not with the JETS Baker =Treated like a 2nd Rate TE Maroney =Not with the JETS Martin =Washed up. Even your optimistic outlook is bleak!
