    2008-2009 Jets Opponents

    As reported by Jetsblog.com...

    "2008 Jets Matchups Announced

The NFL has released who?s playing who ? just not when yet ?

Home: New England, Buffalo, Miami, Denver, Kansas City, Arizona, St. Louis, Cincinnati.

Away: New England, Buffalo, Miami, Oakland, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, Tennessee

As of today, it looks like a nice schedule to me. Let?s hope they can be in the hunt in 2008."

Assuming we wouldn't be able to best New England, San Diego, Seattle and Tennessee... we could 10-6? Thoughts?

You're gonna need a quarterback to win 10 games and you don't have one yet.

Are you sure we have the OL & DL to get to 10 wins? Sounds to me like a very tall order

4 west coast trips will be a killer physically.

Was there a bigger reason than Pete Kendell's departure for the demise of the JETS. OL went from better than average up and coming to one of the worst if not the worst in the league.

Chad Pennington or Kellen Clemens is not the problem.

    I agree completely.

For all the people who think we're getting rid of Chad, let me ask you this question---what have you seen from our OL to make you think we won't need two good QBs next year? At least. If you get rid of Chad you have to replace him, thus creating another high priority need. Whatever he is on the cap, it shouldn't be a problem because Clemens already is making backup money and he hasn't played himself into a raise just yet. QB is not the place to save a few bucks on your cap, hopefully they learned something from the Pete Kendall scenario in terms on saving dollars.

You can't judge the schedule at this point. You never know what moves each team is going to make in the off season. The only thing you can guarentee is that 4 trips to the West Coast is pretty brutal.

Allright 4 trips out west, will definately be in San Diego, now do I want to go to San Francisco or Seattle? I'm thinking Seattle might be a great weekend trip, great food, terrrible weather and my wife loves the city although she loves San Fran as well. Tough decision on my part.....

Hey guy's, is there a date yet for the game in Seattle?, I have friends who live there and I'm thinking of going over next year to visit them.
