You forgot the most important thing, they had Buddy Ryan and that was the reason they won.

Its bad enough we have to put up with all the smug Patriot fans around our respective homes or areas , but Now it seem there are NEW Patriot fans springing up all over the place (bandwagon). I truly hate this team mainly because the coach is our former turn coat! Karma has taken a vacation when it comes to this guy.Or has it?!

heh..just thinking. If the Pats were to have any turnovers tomorrow it would probably behoove both Brady and Moss to get off the field as quick as they possibly can. Nearest sideline or out the back of the end zone. I don't think they would want to get involved in trying to stop a return.

If it is we'd probably lose by 100 considering the things the fans have done this year. Gate D, booing Chads injury (perceived or otherwise), the Jets home game turning into a Pittsburgh home game. Hopefully the fans karma doesn't follow the team around.

I find it interesting that you guys can't resist comparing anything to your last moment of excellence (38 years ago). Not a dig, just an observation.

The biggest threat to the Pats perfect season is Belichick. After tomorrow when the Pats have home field advantage throughout the playoffs, making the wins meaningless assuming the goal is the Super Bowl.

Our hope is that he has done that 3 times and that this year's goal is the perfect season. Keep your fingers crossed....

It's not a perfect season unless you win the SB in fact if you go undefeated and don't win the SB it will be considered a huge choke.

Exactly right. The Dolphins knew that in '72 and the Patriots better know it now.

And if we end up with a perfect season. I'm sure you'll find something else to bitch about.

Jets fans and your opinions are irrelevant.

You don't know Bellicheat very will if you think he would rest anybody knowing he has a bye week. Unfortunately, it will be the Giants who rest their starters in week 17 as they won't have a bye week.

Let's face it as of today the Pats have done nothing more than the 05 Colts did and they were knocked out in their first playoff game.

Patriots fans opinions are just as irrelevant. Thats one of the reasons people hate Boston fans in general, you have this perception that people care what you think.

Here's the funny thing about this game. Just as the Jets have nothing to lose the Patriots have nothing to win. If they don't beat us by 100 points after everything that has been said and written it will just prove that they really aren't all that good.

Dont worry about the Pats fans. How many of them do you think would be on their site if the tables were turned. Its an easy way for otherwise insecure people to pound their chests and feel like THEY have accomplished something.

Exactly. It's funny how they're all signing up here, ready to pounce and give us crap....kinda reminds me of pulling into the parking lot at the Jets/Steelers game a few weeks back. Their fans were so ready to talk more shit than anything, yet they left crying.

    A man can dream...

In predicting that Pats fans will be complete douche bags, I am undefeated. Watch out, Shula.

The Steeler fans acted the same way in Foxboro last week. Waving their towels, talking trash.............their towels stayed in their pockets in the second half.

Don't expect the Jets fans to be abnoxious. They will wear their colors (and Jets rain gear). Kind of like Yankee fans and Knick fans....dazed looks or just sulking.

Whether you like the Pats or not this could be a year that may never be repeated.

1.) Undefeated with most wins in a season
2.) Most points in a season
3.) Most passing touchdowns in a season
4.) Largest delta between points for and against in a season

...and four Super Bowl wins in six years isn't so bad either.

Not a bad year to be a Boston fan.

hahaha, amen to that, all the glory of the present state of boston sports doesnt change the fact that boston is boston, a nice quaint city of the north, not the greatest city in the world (nyc just in case u didnt know) so u can have ur tainted superbowls, u can win with garnett and ray allen, u can enjoy the red sox not being the cubs anymore, but one thing u will always lack, is the ability to call your home city "the greatest"
