Forgive me if I posted incorrectly But from what I have read so far it seems the majority of the people here know what I mean. I feel that we had no chance with great weather that the only chance we had to win was if the weather was bad. From the looks of things that seems to be the case.
Because then we could always say the fans cost the Patsies their perfect season. That'd be pretty fuckin' fantastic.
Patriots offense 113 y/g 20.2 DVOA Jets offense 103 y/g -10.9 DVOA Patriots rush D 99 y/g -5.4% DVOA Jets rush D 141.9 y/g 12.9 DVOA That ignores that the passing isn't harder to do in the cold/snow. Brady threw 52 times against Oakland in the 2001 playoffs. You might remember it was snowing that day too.
I can care less about the fans, they're a bunch of assclowns... I'd rather hurt Belichick which winning the game outright would do.... though I do see the humor in the fans costing them a game
pffft...maybe not. The rule seems vague. It's pretty clear that it can be terminated, however, due to actions of the fans. http://football.calsci.com/TheRules11.html
I was in the stands for the Oakland game and it was a windless night and a gentle snow./.huge flakes (no homo) It wasn't blizzard conditions like predicted for tomorrow with some sleet and freezing rain mix involved..this is going to fun..I'm seriously feeling 13 and 1..Go Jets
no but 60 mph winds are. With the deepening low pressure, winds will be on the increase over all of the Northeast, back into parts of the Midwest. In general, winds of 20 to 30 mph will be common, but gusts to 60 mph will impact parts of eastern New England, especially northern areas, Actually, I hope the weather is good. Then there will be no excuse not to score 100 points against us unless of course you really aren't all that good.
Sure, but the weather is apt to favor the better running team and the team that turns the ball over less. Unless you are living in fantasy land, you do have to ask which team that is. Of course, I feel the Patriots fans who are forecasting absurdly high scores are in fantasy land as well. Right now it looks like wet and windy, no snow build up to speak of.
As a Jet fan, I'd prefer a wet game to a snowy game.... The way I see it, the difference between the two passing offenses is much, much, much greater than that between the two rushing offenses.... So if it's wet, it hurts both passing games, but seeing as how ours sucks already, it's an advantage for us.... Both running games as just average, and I'm much more confident in us competing in a rushing-dominated game than an air-it-out style shootout...
