Nah, this is a common one on-line. Some guy posts that Animal House line, then some kid who thinks every comedy involves Adam Sandler posts that the Germans didn't bomb Pearl Harbor. It happened to me on this very site.

Besides, everyone knows who bomber Pearl Harbor.......Robert Krafts grandfather.

I was thinking about pointing it out, but I'll just let it rest right there.

    • Dude grow up - I go to Uconn and I am surrounded by New England fans - I don't even get the Jets games on TV because they are blacked out up here in Northern CT. People are always going to gloat when their team is doing good - its called LIFE.

    • Secondly, if you are taking it out on your family, you have issues. This is a game we are talking about. Sometimes you need to have thick skin and remember what you are actually making an issue out of.

    • I have extreme passion for the Jets. I have season tickets and drive 2.5 hours to see them play and lately, loose. I love the Jets, but I would never walk away because of Patriot fans or any other fan. To do so would show that you are not committed to the team

I haven't had much to talk about in the recent days but I'll def'n chime in here. Kurt, your a valued jets fan and poster and one of the key cogs here at TGG. If you have to take time off to handle some family business or something of the like, it's understandable; but don't leave b/c you can't stand the pats...hell thats part of the glue that binds us jets fans together :)
Yes, the patriots situation is pretty unbearable right now BUT no dynasty lasts forever. Ride it out so we can all have a good laugh when we watch the wheels fall off and 90% of the pats posters disappear :)

Then again, if this board is becoming a source of stress for you it might be a good idea to take a small hiatus and return close to the draft or something. Just a though, DD

So, you're the one who hasnt seen Animal House.

Lemme guess, you're about 20 and think you have developed a sense of comedy from watching Scoobeydoo.

I'd suggest seeking professional help for this obsession of yours. This obviously goes deeper then sports.

No way, Kurt. I'm not accepting this.

You're a great Mod and a great jets fan and a great contributor here on the board, not to mention I really enjoy seeing you at TC every summer.

We need to talk some more about this, but I'm on my way out to an ear appointment. In the meantime, please reconsider. Walking away from the Jets means the Masshole Crowd has won! No way do we let that happen!

Exactly. The object of terrorism is to try to force us to change our way of life, and we must never let that happen. I know I wont. If I want to tell a woman to show me her breasts, I will not let Patriot fans stop me from doing so.

In all fairness, the person Gator is referring to is me. I didn't know where the reference came from. I've never seen Animal House, nor do I have any desire to.

Though I'm not an Adam Sandler fan, nor get my sense of humor from Scooby Doo. (You misspelled Scooby, and it's two words. )

Oh, and I'm not 20 either.

Why wouldn't you want to watch a classic comedy? It's a great movie, dude.

Eh. I'm not a movie person anyway. I barely watch action films, and those are really all I'm into. I don't get much into tv/movies. I prefer things like games or spending inordinate amounts of time on TGG to pass the time.

I've got about 4 more years of New England left in me. That is how many more years till my youngest graduates from high school and I can feel free to move about the country. Kurt, like you I can't be out of this region fast enough man. Like you I know a handful of people that do a good job of giving Boston fans a really bad name. But they aren't all bad. Some good mixed in with the royally ob-fargin'-noxious.

Just take a break away from things for a bit and get your batteries recharged. Down seasons can take a lot of the joy out of things. Like many others have already expressed I too will miss your posts here.

So does Kurt............er, well, he used to. Now he's into knitting and cooking. He can probably whip up a squab with saffron risotto in no time, and clean the house and knit a sweater while it's cooking. :)
