What do you think Jets chances are?

Browns have a worse defense than us. Hopefully the O can take advantage of that, with more Leon especially.

Offensively they are one of the top teams right now. Jamal Lewis is the kind of back that can kill our undersized, poor tackling defense. Revis vs Edwards is an interesting match up, and it appears that Derek Anderson has cooled off a bit.

Is Cotchery out for the year? If he plays we should be able to put up points through the passing game. I think the Browns will look to make Clemens beat them.

    Go Jets.

Cotch is done for the season I believe. Browns putting up 28 points a game this year, Jets averaging just 18 and thats after a 40 point performance. I'd love to see a little payback for last year and I'm sure Clemens will be up for this game since it's against Anderson. I'd say we have a good shot at winning this one actually.

I have watched basically every Browns game this year (don't ask why, but I always seem to stop on thier games). After the First two games this season they were considered by many the worst team in football. That has changed big time.

The best way to describe them is young, talented and erratic. They have a lot of playmakers on Offense but Anderson is prone to make mistakes and their Offensive line is solid but get flagged a lot.

Joe Jurevicious is thier possesion receiver and Braylon Edwards and Kellen Winslow can make the big plays.

Cribbs on special teams is dynamic and he does not get the press Leon Washington does.

The bottom line is they always play close games.. The can't hold leads, but can come back against anyone.

I actually think the Jets can win this game if they are up for high flying contest. The Browns make a lot of big plays. If the Jets play Vanilla, they will lose.

I don't think this is even going to be close , Jets are going to get win #4.
The D stays disciplined and the O line holds out for at least 75% of the game. I believe that things are looking slightly rosier the more the season goes on. Makes a change , I can remember when it got to november that was it for the W column.

We'll be in it. If the D can continue to play the way they have, and the offense clicks like last week, we can win it.

I think (crossing fingers) we can win this one. The Browns have played a really easy schedule, while we have played a really difficult schedule. We are more battle-tested and have nothing to lose. Also at home the Browns are one of the best teams in the league, on the road its quite the opposite. This been the second in a row on the road for them will make it all the more tougher.

their offense will be tough to stop, but Clemens has a history (back to highschool and college) with Anderson and will definetely be up.

    Jets 30 Browns 24!!!

Come on guys - I dont think we have much of a chance at all - Beating the Miami High School Dolphins means squat. They are much worse now than the team we beat in week 3.

We will lose somewhere around 38 - 14.

I think it really comes down to the lines of scrimmage. If you see their offensive line pushing our defensive line 2 or 3 yards backwards and they get runs of 6 to 8 yards consistently, we are done. Factor that in with our defense and possibly not being able to get good passrush and that spells trouble.

On Offense if we can't establish any running game because we lack size on the line and have to depend solely on KC's arm we are in trouble yet again.

Those are the keys to look for. If we see the opposite happen then we have an excellent chance of winning as long as the same refs that called Baker forced out in the endzone (I think it was last year) are not calling the game, which clearly was a definite TD, we also have even better odds of winning.

It depends which Jets show up...vs Steelers Jets we win....vs Redskins Jets we lose. I think the game will end up in a tie...seriously.

Yeah, I don't like the Jets chances...but, then again, I wouldn't like their chances against any team (aside from the Fins, Falcons, and Niners, that is).

The Browns have an underrated offense...there's no question they'll put up a good amount of points against the Jets. Their defense, however, will let teams stay in it. If Mangini and co. don't play like scared pussies, maybe they can manage a close game and possibly a win.

Clemens and the offense must put up 25+ points if they even wanna be serious about winning this one.

Derek Anderson having one of his stinkers won't hurt either.

I think that Cleveland is "exposed" this week and we win fairly comforatably. Our tight coverage will neutralize Andersen, even though we will have few, if any, sacks. Run D is much better with Elam and Harris and should do well this week. Clemens will continue to improve and we will score enough on offense to win. The wild card is special teams where they are one of the few as dynamic as we are.

See, I TOTALLY disagree with that. Especially with Jones and our OL, we are NOT a dynamic running team. So we cannot help Kellen by trying to run the ball a lot. All that does is makes him take a lot of 2nd and 9 and 3rd and 7 snaps. We have been running a little bit better because the deep threat of Kellen has moved the safeties back off the line. We need to open up the run game more by passing a lot in the beginning of games, the 49ers philosophy. We should pass 10+ of the first 15 downs. Then later in the game, you start to gash them with draws to Leon and pund them with Jones. But done the other way, ie pound Jones from the beginning is a guaranteed failure and not the best use of our QB.

I expect a tight one that could go either way.

nice to see Clevo on the recieving end of the "Push Out Rule", like when Baker was pushed out when we played them and the rule wasn't enforced as well. comes around, goes around. (Bakers catch was better - not that it matters).

I'm interested to see of Revis is assigned to Braylon Edwards, much like he was to Owens in Dallas and Booker last week. Keeo throwing the kid in the deep end of the pool, he will sink or swim, and so far he is treading water very nicely.

I'll be there (as always) watching that match up all afternoon.
