The New York Titans

To some, those very same Green and White striped uni's represent ONE success from almost 40 years ago. They also represent the ineptitude and mediocrity this team has gone thru for almost 40 years as well.

The Jets will never have their own stadium. That's just the way it is and you can thank the Westside NIMBY crowd for that. As far as the name "Titans" goes, well I don't see Tennessee losing awhole lot of sleep over their name do you? I guess they don't have any sense of "Giant Envy".

I'm all for keeping the name "Jets", but please spare me this romanticized idea about some fabulous, Packer-like Jet legacy cause it's simply a mirage. There's no glory there. Just alot of near misses and misery. I'm sure if a uniform change was in the works, they wouldn't be indentical to the throwbacks.

I'd like to see some change in the Jets uniforms. Radical change? Probably not, but design change/updating? Absolutely. Parcells changed back to those uniforms to give this team some link its rather dubious history.

Maybe its time for a completely new chapter when they move into the new stadium. These ain't the Jets from yesteryear anymore. Its time to move on.

When it comes to Superbowls, Jets 1 Titans 0.......

I did like the t-shirts, and the jerseys looked pretty good, but we're Jets now and have been for the bulk of our history, lets keep it that way....tinker with the uni's if they want, but it's green and white forevuh!

 

Those Titans uniforms stink and have no identity with our green and white. We were the Titans for 2 years. It is almost as bad as Notre Dame. Your team is the fighting Irish but yet you wear Blue and Gold. That is like the Celtics wearing Black and Red.

Any Throwbacks that we wear should be replicas of The Mud Bowl. At the time we changed the uniform in the early 80's, they were considered sleek and modern at the time.

I Still think that the Jets logo with that jetplane looking thing connected to the J was one of the coolest Logos in sports.

 

i don't know about a jersey, but i might go grab a ny titans hat

 

I like the Titans uniforms, but the Jets current uniforms are the classiest in football.

 

Just like the Titans were their first 2 years the Jets ended up .500 wearing the Titan jerseys. Kind of funny
