Reds Sign Fransisco Cordero

    They're paying a lot, and his road ERA was awful, but I think this was a good signing because it fills their biggest need. The Reds should compete next year--they've got some very good offensive players with Dunn, Griffey, Phillips, Hamilton, and Encarnacion who was great in the second half next year. Add in Joey Votto at 1st and they've got a solid offensive foundation. The pitching shouldn't be as bad as its been in the past if Homer Bailey is as good as advertised and Harang continues to pitch great, and Weathers-Cordero is a nice end-of-the-game combo.

    Too bad Dusty Baker will probably sign Neifi Perez to hit leadoff and walk out to the mound during a game to sever Homer Bailey's elbow ligament with a box cutter.

    heheheh. Not worried at all about the Reds, and this can't help the Brewers.

    Think we have an outside shot to repeat as NL Central champs this coming season.
