Our guys were overpowered and slower than their guys. We do,however, have 3 very good defenders in Revis, Harris and Rhodes.

Yes they have been building that defense for what 5 or 6 years? They drafted players like Greg Ellis, Ware, Spears, Canty, Roy Williams and Newman. We are in year 2 of building up our defense. Be patient it's not like we are beating the Pats this year anyway.

This team looked like they were really hampered by the short turn around. I know Dallas had the same sitch, I am not disputing that in the least. But man did every single player on offense look like they were mired in quicksand. The D, looked better but because of the constant 3 and outs and discrepancy in TOP, looked gassed.

As ready as the Jets were against Pittsburgh they looked just as sluggish today. That was truly disappointing.

It just seemed like the cowboys defense was playing a lot faster then our front 7. I'm sure it's a combo of the short turnaround and a talent differential. It has to be brutal to be Clemens playing in Dallas against that defense when we can't give him 3 seconds and he has shitty wr's that don't scare anyone who drop every ball. Not to mention no running game to give space. They rushed 4 and easily got pressure. Wouldn't you love to see Clemens have the 4 or 5 seconds that Romo has every play?

Once again, we were dominated in the trenches by a team that is simply much larger than ours. Same story, different season. My question is when will it finally change?

From the beginning the Oline was getting man handled.....they looked so little compared to Dallas D-line. We must address this in the draft and FA. Its a MUST!

That's the bottom line.... Other than the fact that Dallas is probably the #2 team in the NFL and way more talented......

At home with a normal weeks rest, this is at least a game....

To me yesterdays outcome was completely expected - I hoped for a few more plays, no Pick 6 TD and possibly a few offensive scores.

But, no way was this team, as fragile and undermanned as it is, going to travel to Dallas, lose another day in prep compared to Dallas as well as the travel lag - Walk in to their stadium and be competitive......

I see positives form that game - What makes me sick are the people jumping off bridges... Even Cannizarro is highly questioning Clemens off that game... Sheesh..... My Father in law was over asking me about CLemens, I said before he game that he looks pretty good but, this game will in NOWAY be indicitive of what he can do - The Jets are about to get Manhandeled....

Sheesh, people relax - It's about building and Next season... Stop with the Darksider stuff... I was king of the darksiders when the time was right, NOW isn't time to jump ship.....

I really wish all the people jumping ship could be locked out and forced to root for the Dolphins.

Still think we are only 2 players away from the ultimate prize?

KC also has to get them the ball, how many open receivers did he miss? Cotch easily should ahve had a 120+ yd game w/ a TD. Twice when he was wide open down the field KC missed him, one would have been a TD and another a long gainer.

His passes not being accurate was partly due to the pass rush. Clemens never knew how fast they would get to him so he rushed his passes sometimes and ended up missing his target.

He's been inaccurate all year, that's been his biggest problem(that and making quick decisions). he was under fire but he also held onto the ball way too long alot of times. He is big accuracy issues and I believe it goes back to the flaws in his mechanics.

i believe we are an entire coaching staff away from beginning the rebuilding process, agree? although we do have some interesting pieces in place on the team.

This is due to bad coaching and poor team preparation. He should be ready for defensive pressure and breakdowns in the pocket. It is obvious he was not. This team was not ready to play and it's all on the coaches.

Nothing has changed my view of where the Jets are in relation to competing long term for the Championship. My view of the team is not changed over the Pittsburgh game nor did it change from yesterday.

Also if you are going to quote what I say at least get it correct. I said the Jets are 5 good players away from being a top notch team. No, nothing I have seen would lead me to change this view.

If the Jets brought in NFL caliber starters for RT and LG, brought in a OLB the other team has to account for on every play, got a stud NT that is required for a 3-4 to work properly and would let Harris and Barton to operate with impunity and got good QB play the Jets are fine.

As I have said getting a quality RT and LG would be easier than a quality Pass rushing OLB and a NT. Not saying it is going to be easy. But in simplistic terms these position are the big holes and if filled would make the Jets capable of beating anyone.

Other issues like lack of depth, a safety opposite of Rhodes are secondary problems that should be addressed as well.
