There's nowhere any team will be able to safely kick once we get Justin Miller back there with Leon. Those two and Westhoff's blocking schemes will be a huge weapon for us next season.
I wish I could agree with you. He will never get voted in. He will be another Jet who gets snubbed again. It always happens.
Snubbed by who? Miller got in last year with just 2. 3 is a lock figuring there is no one is the AFC with 2.
We can Fire mangini, Sutton, and Shotty....We better not ever lose Westhoff...He's a miracle worker on ST
Let me educate you...52 solo tackles going in today..and today he garnered another 10. The dude is a beast on a very bad team.
Leon is fantastic, and he made some incredible catches on Clemens' passes today too... One of very few positives on the team this season
He missed the bomb. We win the game if he catches the bomb. That's just how it goes though. That was the first halfback fly I have seen the Jets run since Bruce Harper was on the team. I hope the Jets add that play as a regular feature, because it really messes with the safeties and it's a great way to keep them out of the box.
Thank you. I hated that he dropped it but the playcall itself was what got me excited. Lil Schott still has a ways to go if he wants to get his head out of his ass, though.
I didn't see a replay of it, at the game, but I thought Kellen threw that one too close to the sideline, it looked from my angle that he was going to be out of bounds regardless.... I'm not sure though, since I only had my initial view at the game.....
I've watched that play a half dozen times at this point and he was gone if he catches it. It was not perfectly thrown but it was a good over the shoulder pass. I'm guessing he was looking up his lane a split-second too early and that's what caused the bobble, when the pass was just an inch off to the right.
Leon continues to excel, he is a playmaker and just fun to watch. Although that dropped pass today hurt...
The last Jet who was as dangerous as him on kick returns was Chad Morton and the last guy as dangerous out of the backfield on a route was Bruce Harper. That makes him a very special player and potentially one who could turn into a Brian Westbrook type player before he is done.
Okay, I'll take your word for it... My seats are on the visitor's sideline, so the sideline itself is kind of covered.... I'm glad then.... I'd rather see a drop by Leon than a poor pass by Clemens, considering Leon is a backup RB, and Clemens, hopefully, is our Qb of the future
