Thank you for confirming my suspicions. Validation is such a drug sometimes.

I think should start the Fat Stupid Loser Fellates canines thread, and take bets on which is more likely....

Agreed Chad really sucked and your spot on here. Most high schools QB from Florida or Texas could stretch the field more than Chad. Hard to believe that Kellen can't. I fully expect our O to score more than 3 points tomorrow even without our best Offensive player, Coles.

Thanks, truth is I'm a sunshiny homer wearing my green glasses, I don't have any perspective. I may have to wear a diaper during the game? The idea that we are actually fielding a QB who can throw a post with a lightning quick release might make me pee in my pants.

Well, Miami and Arizona did and Warner was playing with one arm. If we don't I'm sure it will be Chad's fault for mentoring Kellen. In fact he has probably already ruined the kid. Chad is a real sack of crap.

The sack of crap stuff is really over the top. It's really not his fault he can't throw the ball anymore.

I know. I was being extremely sarcastic. For most of this thread actually. I'm a Chad fan. His arm strength is 1/10th of this team's problem in my opinion. I think he is the best QB on the team. And if the team was any good, he wouldn't have lost his job. Guess I've been fighting back a bit against all the Chad hate I've been reading. Kudos for calling me out above. Wish that happened more often in here. Hope I made a point.

If you don't think the 2 surgeries haven't taken it's toll on Chad's ability to be a high quality NFL starter you just aren't watching the games. It has gotten into Chad's head why hasn't it gotten into your's? Clemens is young but he has tools right now that Chad just can't bring to the table and the NFL has made it clear they are going to continue changing the rules to favor the passing game. I don't understand the hate for Clemens that you spew? The guy is our future without him coming up big for this team and proving he has the goods, the Jets are liable to be a terrible team for years.

Clemens is not our future. If he was he would have been already playing. Our future is not on the team yet and it may not be even be a QB. For this team to move forward I believe we have to get a smash mouth defense. You can get to the SB without a top 10 QB as long as you have a top 5 defense.

This kind of confuses me. You seem to start out rejecting Clemens as not good enough, but then finish by saying that QB isn't that important. The guy was a late 2nd round pick. We didn't sell the farm for him to begin with.

We are going to play a team today with a top 5 defense and a solid dual threat at running back, they aren't going anywhere. The league is protecting the QB and is allowing WR to run wild in the secondary, they are even allowing much more basic holding on passing plays, to say that you can win without a top QB today is just nonesense.

What I'm saying is that Clemens will not make or break the Jets in the future. He is not a top 10 QB so he's really not important in the master plan.

Nonsense? Look at Chicago last year. Or Baltimore with Boller. I'm sure there are others that just aren't coming to mind. Tampa Bay was another.

If he isn't going to be at least a top 10 guy in the next two years you will get your wish, Mangini will be gone. This team will never get through either NE or Indiana with outstanding QB play.
