They were poorly prepared. They acted like Jones ran for 150 yards in the first half. Never any mention of the 8-9 men in the box. The also acted like this was the first time we ran the no huddle.
That was kind of annoying, but Gus Johnson is still incredible and was the only thing that made this game tolerable.
I don't remember half of what announcers say by the end of the game most of the time. That's pretty wild if Tasker really said we rarely run the no huddle though.
Yes that pissed me off. The guys intense screaming on average plays pissed me off. And the play when Leon fumbled WAS NOT A TRICK PLAY. Since when is a give or take option a trick play! Terrible announcing.
I must say that this was one of the most BORING games that I ever had the displeasure of watching.
Taskers incomplete comment on the Coles play was also ridiculous as was Johnson screaming on the Evans TD, like it was the biggest play in the history of the NFL.
The Evans TD was a very big play and I went nuts and screamed when it happened. I didnt find anything wrong with Johnson's reaction Any take on Ian Eagles reaction when Chad threw the pick six at the end of the Bengal game>?
One of them also said that the Brad Smith/Leon play was a bad call because "these are guys who aren't used to touching the ball"
That's what makes Johnson so good..he brings an enthusiasm to his calls unlike anyone else. And if you thought he was good there, watch this: http://youtube.com/watch?v=Vt0VUSyVIr4
Just FYI. The no huddle has not been a huge feature this year. Nowhere near as much as the Jets used it last year.
