my father is from boston. I went there with him a few summers ago and saw a game at fenway. red sox-blue jays
awful job tonight, laz diaz. it's nice that you have a black belt and all, but learn how to call balls and strikes. huge zone given to the red sox pitchers
I'm not sure if I get it... does Yisman hate the Red Sox? j/k man, I love your passion. Great game from both teams tonight. Oki came through, and Paps, well, Paps is just ridiculous.
So much for "fundamental" NL baseball. How the hell do you get picked off by a CLOSER in a World Series game?
Let's be honest here....the strike zone was as wild and erratic as Jimenez's pitching. It was all over the place for both sides.
Rox have been on ice too long. In their favor, someone gets benched in Coors, Ortiz, Youk or Lowell? Whatever the answer, that can't but help them out.
Remember Game 2 of the Yankees/Indian Series (bug game). There was a pitiful strike zone that game which everyone was pointing out. Every ball and strike call was backwards. Guess who the home plate ump was that game? And how the hell did he get a World Series assignment?
when I was thinking about it, I was thinking Youkilis in right would be the best option. You'd lose range in right in Coors Field, but you'd keep a valuable bat in your lineup.
