If you are that disgusted, stay home. I have never understood booing your own players especially those that give effort and have class.

I can only boo if the offense is pissing me off, which will be often.

    I expect chants for Clemens.

If you can't root for your team when they are losing, then how can you cheer for them when they are winning?

I'll be booing the defense when they take the field in the second half. Since thats why we keep losing games.

I don't boo my own team, period, or any of the players. If I don't have anything positive to cheer about, I keep my mouth shut. It's not me on that field taking the sack and getting smacked around. And I can't believe 28% of the responants to this "poll" think Chad should be booed either.

IMO, the only ones who should be booed are those moronic numbskulls who do the booing in the first place. Kinda makes you ashamed and embarrassed for some of the assholes in the stands who call themselves Jets fans.

First off, the poll doesn't say "should Jets fans boo Chad". I don't know too many people that think that Chad should still be the starting QB. I also don't see what's wrong with fans that feel that way expressing their displeasure at Chad continuing to start.

On the plus side, all the "crowd is too quiet" guys won't have much to complain about if Pennington continues to play at QB because there will be plenty of noise being made.

The decision should be boo'd..... Mangini should be boo'd... I voted yes for that.... I hope Chad plays as hard as he can while he's out there, and I support him, but I know we'd be better off without him in there, and for that, I'm beginning to HATE Mangini

Oh, I see. So they deserve booing in the second half only. In the first half, they get a reprieve.

Brilliant, absolutely brilliant. This is what I'm talking about.

C'mon...I can't stand the sight of the guy anymore but he deserves better than to get booed off the field.

It’s a shame that Manmongoloid is creating a situation where this seems like a reasonable thing to do to some fans.

    Thats not the point.

The simple fact of that matter is that he has performed extraordinarily poorly, and he should expect Fans to voice their displeasure, considering what they pay for their seats.

Part of the problem here, I think is that rather than handling it correctly, by benching him for a series or a half, his play has been so poor for so long that the Coaching staff is moved into a position where taking him out looks like
    a move towards succession.

That should never have been allowed to happen. Players at other positions get benched all the time, and QB's generally get a longer leash on it, but should not be exempt. But in this case the perception of what the benching may or may not mean has to a certain extent limited what they are willing to do....

Let's face it, to some of the unsupportive, pathetic, fair weather losers that post on this board, firing a hand-held, rocket-propelled grenade at Mangini would "seem like a reasonable thing to do" also.

You'd never get it past security. They won't even let you bring your cap from your water bottle in the stadium.

Won't be that shocking, I don't think there will be too much more than half of the50-60 people left at the end of the game.
