Mangini just announced, I am getting to a point where I really can't stand this, Chad sucks, he is consistently costing this team games and I have truly lost my patience. Is it bad to hope Chad gets injured?

Had the guy come out and thrown a stinker, I'd have been very angry about this, but the fact of the matter is the guy actually showed up on Sunday. I think it's fairly obvious that the Jets still believe that as long as they're not mathematically eliminated from playoff contention they're going to stick with Pennington and not risk fracturing the locker room.

Note- This doesn't mean he'll finish the game.

this decision to keep starting pennington, is just hurting us see what kellen clemens can do, now when is the right time to play clemens when we play pitt, n cowboys in a span of 4 days, just a terrible decision by mangini

He was one of the better players on the team last Sunday. I like the fact Mangini is not making him a scapegoat. Very interesting though, I don't know what this means with Clemens. I hope the offense is opened up.

If Pennington wasn't on a short leash last week he definitely will be this week.

What else did Mangini have to say??

keep in mind we were playing the bengals who stink on offense. Eveyone throws up 30 points against them. Plus how many points did we score in the 4th quarter and what about the interception.

Mangini announced it in his press conference today, he also announced Vilma will not be in practice and his injury will be evaluated (Mangini says its his knee).

Mangini is very stubborn. I guess he just figures we are not mathematically out of it so why start the kid. Funny, that Edwards got two starts when Lohsman was out and is now th QB. Other teams are quick to go to their backup, but Mangini keeps going with Chad, so sad.

Almost as bad as the fact that you actually have to ask that question.

This is insanity. Even if Chad was playing well, this team needs a spark. It's similar to pulling a hockey goalie when the team isn't playing well. It's not always the goalie's fault that he gets pulled, but sometimes you do it to get your team to try harder.

So what changes were made this week? Sutton is still here, Chad is still starting, the Jets are still losing.

    Season Over

Is Mangini keeping Pennington in so we can get a top 5 draft pick or is Clemens that bad he can't beat Penington out the starting job.

Apparently you didn't see Clowney got cut. Mangini isn't messing around anymore.

    Yes, that is bad.

And it's not just Chad costing games - the fact that the defense has been god awful is the main reason why we're forced to run a two-minute drill every game...
