now that we have our 2 first rounders i was thinking about who to take with the 4th...everyone says defense but dont we have a good defense from what i remember? the jets havent had an offensive player maker in god knows how long...a player like TO, Steve Smith, LT, the list goes on...in the first round i think we need to take one of those playmakers and i feel that that there is one guy that can bring us that...Chad Jackson University of Florida...i watched this guy play and after his first few catches i knew he wuld be an elite NFL receiver...people have him rated very low but players such as Boldin, TO, and Rice we all rated low. We already filled out DE need with KIMO and i really feel like we need to get a player like nate clements to boost out secondary...in the first round this year i think we can take a defensive player but somehow get that playmaker
What about the skiier guy, Miller? Hes a really fast receiver and a great punt returner. oh. but hes not a #4 pick. I would like him in the 3rd round. sorry for the waste of space.
It all depends on Runyan, if we sign him I feel were going to take Mario Williams. But a thought I had if we signed Runyan was trading down maybe one or two spots and taking AJ Hawk. It would make sense because we are a bit shallow at LB and he is going to be a elite LB at the next level. I love Chad Jackson as well but Im not sure he would last till our #29, he had a g reat combine but I just dont think we are at the position were we can take position positions like WR
No reciever this year is worth a 4th overall, and if we draft a CB it would have to be that big fast guy huff.
If D'Brick is there at 4 i believe we will take him, otherwise we should take either Mario williams although i dont know where he would fit (3-4 DE?? or 3-4 Pass rushing OLB) or Hawk
I hope mangini is not going to be like a kid in a candy store and grab all defense. And at pick four hawk will look like a giant candy bar. Hopfully mangini eats his dinner first and picks cutler something the team body needs more.
Jackson wont last till 29, especially not after his 40 time. Im sure Im a bigger Jackson fan than anyone on this board but he wont be there.
