I thought it should have happened yesterday.....but i guess not. This week hopefully....Chad just limits the offense....sorry
I have to believe that Mangini is not trying to commit professional suicide and therefore I think he'll make the change sometime in the next 3 weeks. If he waits until the bye week then it's going to be mostly over for him on the Jets.
I said this week because I DON'T THINK Mangini is that STUPID to keep going with Chad. Players want to win. Coaches want to win. The FANS want the team to win. You can't keep putting up loses without making a change. Chad is not getting the ball in the endzone. Time for a change.
I said after the Bye because I think that's what's going to happen. Mangini keeps on propping up Chad and babbling about "consissency," like it hasn't sunk in yet the one thing he could do to provide the spark he needs to salvage a .500 season.
Another stupid comment, for those who think they will fire Mangini if Clemens is the not the starter, please....come on.
I've thought about this too. This is the worst scenario and the one that gives me the most nightmares because we really need to see what we have with Clemens in order to make a concrete decision as to where we go from here with the QB position.
This is the perfect time to make the switch. 3 straight weeks of horrible QB play should be more than enough proof that Chad just cannot get it done anymore. Plus what better way for a young QB to gain some confidence than by making his second start against the worst D in the league.
Not until CP cannot phyisically get on the field anymore. Not all of this crap is CPs fault though , hes a piece in the jigsaw and the jigsaw is a picture of blue sky.
I mean, I would understand if a few fans like us here just got on here and complained for Chad to be benched. After all, we are just fans and tend to get upset. But when the majority of the media and other sources begin to talk about how now is the time to start Clemens and Mangini is the only one saying no (as is his perogative as the head coach) then you start to wonder who is wrong. Is he seeing something that we and the rest of the football world don't see? Chad is clearly struggling, it does not take a genius to figure it out. I would just assume that Mangini has his reasons. Wish he would just come out and say why. But I know he does not have to give an explanation.
I agree its not all Chad's fault but chad is more part of the problem then the solution. If it was up to me I would have Clemens taking first team snaps now
I don’t understand why they took the ball out of his hands yesterday. Big whip tie dew we ran for a buck and change. Aren’t the two supposed to complement the other? One play action that they bit on and no more?? I’m so damn confused. If you’re scared he's going to kill us again then Change the Quarter back this is bordering on negligence.
I totally agree that it is very much like Chad to win one or two along the way and prolong this agony. Definitely the nightmare scenario. I am really beginning to lose faith in the CS.
I am no longer convinced that Mangini will make the change at all this season. And it is a depressing thought.
